Fabulous Haircut. I just came back from my amazing haircut in Sonoma from Len and he's definitely gained a loyal client in me! I came 15 minutes late and he still took me in and he even pushed back his next appointment for me. The salon in Sonoma is clean and beautiful. Len greeted me warmly and ensured that he'd give me a great haircut. I heard that phrase many a time before at GSquared (avoid/run for the hills), Marlon Ramos ("nice" but mildly volatile stylist that will give you a piece of his mind if you don't like his cut or color), and Wes Pine (HUGELY overrated). All of these people and salons have 5/5 stars but Len is TRULY the REAL deal. His professional, highly knowledgeable, EXPERT, pleasant demeanor marked highly in my book and not to mention is unreal hairstyling skills.

The haircut itself was amazing. I hadn't cut my hair in a year and 2 months so it was beyond long. I told him I wanted to cut 6 inches off and to give me great layers as well as volume. He did this and more. He ensured that my cut worked with my face and even provided suggestions that actually worked perfectly for my face and hair. The end product was amazing. It was a bit shorter than I'm used to but he's seriously that talented he made me love my hair at this length!! Keep in mind, had anyone cut my hair this short, I would've cried/freaked out but I have no idea how or what Len did but it worked and I LOVE my hair. My hair has so much texture, style, and volume. I'm excited to return for color and can only imagine how great that will turn out.

Len is an incredibly sweet, talented, and unpretentious person. Please do not hesitate to visit him at his Sonoma or San Francisco salon :)

So if you happen to me torn when picking various 5 star salons, pick Len. You won't regret it! I was skeptical initially since many of those 5 star reviews in Yelp and CitySearch are so misleading but this girl is a believer now!

Great highlights!. I am very picky about my hair and have tried various places without much success. I also have long wavy hair that is not easy to manage. Len is not only able to make my hair look amazing while looking 100% natural, but he also is great at recommending what looks good with my skin tone and hair length. He really listens to what i am looking for and is able to give advice on what works best for me. He is not just a hair dresser, he is truly a hair stylist and consultant. Finally a professional who understands me. Artistic, pleasant, enormously talented stylist and colorist, I cannot say enough great things about Len. He does my hair and my husband's hair and these cuts last! They grow out beautifully. I wanted to go lighter with my haircolor and Len suggested doing highlights. He did them perfectly. Just found my NEW hairstylist and colorist! It's Len!. I wish I could leave more than 5 stars! Len is more a 10 star hairstylist and colorist! I just had my hair cut and colored (yes I color my hair, I will admit to that!) last week by Len the amazing hairstylist and colorist! I just moved to San Francisco last month from Washington D.C. and got a referral from a co-worker went to that other stylist (at a well known salon on Maiden Lane) first of all it was pretentious, they acted as if they were doing me a favor doing my hair, EXPENSIVE even by Union Square standards! I never went back! I felt I had wasted my hard earned money! Then I decided to research hairstylists (and colorists) on line, and low and behold I happened upon Len. He had so many great things written about him, I just had to make an appointment! I did, on line in fact! Is that easy or what?! I had to change my appointment time to another day and called his help desk, they told me they were available 24/7 they were extremely helpful and polite! I then finally went into see Len, right away I could tell he had a lot of experience, he made me feel comfortable (I brought in pictures to show him of how I would like the hairstyle to look) he and I really communicated well! He listened, then he cut my hair, and colored it (beatiful rich Auburn, with lighter Caramel colored highlights) the result, a color that looks natural but gets me noticed! (I hate the obvious colored hair look!) My cut is amazing, it has so much movement, volume in the right places! SO if you want to finally find your hairstylist (who also happens to do amazing coloring and highlights!) then Len is your man! Nice guy, Nice salon atmosphere (in S.F.) And you can schedule on line! the man tells the truth. i'm so grateful to have a professional of this calibur in sonoma. with his checkered past in the art world, including hanging with andy warhol back in the great new york days (although i'm sure len did NOT do his hair), he has the confidence and skill to create an amazing haircut/color for your particular type of hair, and he isn't afraid to tell you if you are making a mistake. len cares about the health of your mane.

Len Brings STYLE to Sonoma!. When I first made an appointment with Len, it was because I liked him so much personally. But I already had someone who I thought was doing a great job with my hair so I wasn't sure how all that would pan out.

Little did I know, but my hair color and cut actually had a lot of room for improvement. Len did a total color and cut make over, and with stunning results. I get regular comments on how beautiful my hair is. It is subtle enough where many people couldn't put their finger on what was different, and ultimately they shrub and just say, "You've never looked better!" Really, that's the ultimate compliment!

Len is worth every dollar you could possibly spend. He is also great about recommending products that are good for your hair and provide the nutrients and protection your hair needs.

Even with all that said, my favorite thing about Len is that he has the biggest heart in the world. If you don't know him, you are missing out....plus, if you think you look good now, just wait!…
