I have been to numerous spa's and I believe my experience here was top notch. The knowledable staff helped me in choosing a personalized service just for me. I decided to go with the "Travelers Tonic Massage" because it was a combo of all the good stuff IE swedish, deep tissue, and aromatherapy. My arrival was friendly and direct. Much to my liking. After filling out my intake form I was escourted to the ladies locker room and given a brief tour. The shower was amazing. I do admit I was too chicken to try it but I will next time. When I was changing I was greated by a friendly attendant who later made me tea and offered me a warm neck wrap. Deluxe. My massage was just what I was looking for....light in area's; deep in others. When I was on my way out my therapist, Megan, recommended a Jet Lag Salt/Oil combo. I didn't feel pressured to buy it, so I did! I have been using it in the shower together as a scrub. I love multi purpose. All in all I would recommend this to my friends and will be returning. San Francisco is lucky to have this fresh new addition.

Excellent environment. The I-Spa has beautiful floor to ceiling windows, with an unfortunate view of Howard St. Fortunately I spent most of the therapy session face down so I didn't really notice much in the outside world. The staff was warm and welcoming when I arrived for my Deep Tissue Massage. My massage therapist was a polite young woman named Jaime who promptly set to work on my lower back (which has been destroyed by years of business travel). Halfway through the Deep Tissue session Jaime offered to try some acupressure on me when I made mention of headaches. I have no clue what she did but my head hasn't felt this clear in years. After my time was up I truly didn't want to leave. I am definitely coming back for a massage and to check out the Vichy Rain Shower treatments the next time I need to relax and unwind from my business travels.

Pros: Great staff, knowledgable therapist, excellent location

Cons: They wouldn't let me spend the night in the spa

I have gotten several massages and the staff at ISPA has been helpful and professional. They offer a range of massages and the staff seems very knowledgable. Hina has been very helpful and accommodating. I've gotten massages including Swedish mixed with Deep Tissue and Thai massage, as well as Hydrotherapy. Each massage has been excellent and the best ones I have yet experienced. The atmosphere is soothing and the amenities at the spa are nice and well kept up. I highly recommend ISPA if you are looking for a massage in San Francisco.

I received a notice that this spa recently opened and I figured I would break away from the norm and try it out. After my time at the I-SPA I feel compelled to write a review. First of all, the hotel is TOP NOTCH. Valle parking attendants were extremely nice and it is free for up to 3-hours. The lobby of the hotel is really nice. Upon getting to the 6th floor I noticed that the spa has a great clean feel and smelled amazing. Locker rooms were nice and the steam room was perfect...lots of steam. The relaxation area was very modern and hip (seperate men's and women's). I still cant get over the TEA. It is the best tea in San Francisco...hands down. My treatment was great. The massage rooms have floor to ceiling windows that look over the city! I was really nice to get the natural light into the room and to date this was one of the best massages I have had. Gary is the Massage Therapist, I would recommend to anyone. So then I was asked if I wanted to relax on the outdoor deck. They have heaters out there and really nice soft seating. I took some tea out there and my wife joined me. She said her facial was great and that they used all the bells and whistles of the skin care machine. She also had a Vichy Rainshower treatment (20-min) that she cant stop talking about. Afterwards we ordered food from the spa menu and had a drink on the deck. I am telling you...really nice experience. This is a gem in the city and we will be going back.

Pros: Facilities, THERAPISTS and treatments, In door pool and gym.

Cons: no full length lockers

This beautiful new spa has spacious treatment rooms with windows and docking stations for you to listen to your ipod music while you're receiving services. They offer yoga, a great fitness center w/pilates reformer, pool/jacuzzi and amazing personalized services with the most talented therapists, Definitely, check it out...

Pros: talented therapists, felt experience was personalized for me, comp parking in the city, jacuzzi!
