My experience with NorthStar started with a clear quote with itemized cost. And it's exactly what I paid at the end with no hidden cost or extra charge. On the moving and delivery day, Oscar and the crew are courteous, professional and efficient. They arrived on time, protected my furniture with great care and finished the job quicker than I expected. The closest street to my new apartment's entrance is a no-parking zone, the movers were willing to park on a side street and carried the items for extra distance with no complaints. I was moving from northern CA to southern CA. And among all the moving companies (including the more well-known big names) I inquired, NorthStar is the only one that offered second day delivery. And they kept their promise. It made the move so much easier. They are also very responsive and kept me informed along the way of all the information I needed. My whole experience with NorthStar was an absolute delight. Transitions in life could be emotional, and what NorthStar added was a truly "moving" experience. I will definitely pick them the next time I move.

I had a local move within the City. They came and moved me from the third floor (stairs only - no elevator). They showed up on time, were pleasant, and actually moved weights (ie, pumping iron weights) without complaint. Didn't charge a dime extra. I would use them again, and recommend them when someone says they're moving.

This is to thank Northstar and its workers for moving our stuff successfully from the storage area to our new house. We were impressed by the professionalism displayed by the team of Jaime, Pablo, Tal and Nir. They worked hard despite the inclemency of the wet weather. Their labor was much appreciated.

Yesterday, December 5, I moved from Palo Alto to San Francisco. Never having moved such a volume of possesions before, I was anticipating a nightmare of a day. But the two gentlemen NorthStar sent to assist me in this endeavor, Craig and Liron, made all the difference. Besides being extremely careful with everything (both my furniture and the two apartments) they were efficeint, professional, polite, and all around a pleasure to work with. I could not have asked for a better team.

NorthStar did an outstanding job of packing and moving my things. Quite frankly I was expecting some things to be broken. However, to my surprise not one thing was broken and everything went as smooth as could be expected. I had approximately 15,000 lbs. of items to move. I am very impressed with NorthStar and I would not hesitate to utilize them again for my next move. All of the young men who assisted in packing and loading were very hard working and polite.

About a month ago, on Sep 12, we hired NorthStar Moving to move our belongings from our house in Van Nuys to the Highway Storage place in Santa Clara. We would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for the professional work that was carried out by NorthStar team of workers. In particular, we would like to mention the four NorthStar workers: Roy Ashual, Moshiko Haziza, Guillermo Molise and Roberto Mendoza for their very dedicated service. Besides being good natured and helpful, they worked very well and took good care of our personal effects. We would definitely refer them and NorthStar Moving to any of our friends who are looking for a good moving company.

I wanted to thank the Northstar Moving group for a fabulous job. We hired Northstar Moving on August 4th to move us out of two storage units and where we were staying to our new home in Los Angeles. I had gone through surgery on the 2nd and was in no condition to move around a lot. The Northstar Moving team was great. I slept in while my husband met them at the first pick-up point. Then they came to the 2nd and that is where I met them. When we arrived at the new house they found something for me to sit on and I set in one place in the garage telling them which room the items went. They were great. They had wonderful personalities; I have never had so much fun moving (even if I was in some pain). Northstar thank you again for the great team and customer service.

Just want to inform readers that i had an extremely pleasent moving experience on August 3, 2007. With the help of the movers, I was able to have a smooth moving day. I want to commend the guys that moved me on a job well done. They were efficient, courteous, and respectful of my belongings. They went out of their way to be helpful. I felt comfortable throughout the move.

My family and I would like to extend all of our gratitude to Ram, Gonen, and Yoni for a very successful moving experience. Our move from the San Francisco Bay area down to San Diego could not have gone any smoother. First, we wish to express our gratitude to Ram for all of his courteous and helpful advice. The information that he provided was central to us choosing Northstar to do our move. He was always honest and upfront with what the charges would be and the timetable for the move. The movers came exactly when promised, delivered all of our belongings on the exact date that we wanted, and did an excellent job. Both Gonen Shlomo and Yoni Simmons were very efficient, friendly and professional. Indeed, they went the extra mile to make sure that all of our belongings were packed carefully and efficiently. When it appeared that there was too much stuff for them to handle alone, they quickly called for extra help. Gonen and Yoni were so careful in wrapping the furniture and all of our fragile items that ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS BROKEN OR DAMAGED. I would use them again, without hesitation. Gonen and Yoni deserve our highest compliments. Indeed, the whole Northstar team, with Ram as the point person gave us excellent service at very reasonable rates. Ram's immediate attention to all of our concerns made the whole moving experience a lot less stressful. I know that if we ever need to move again, I will call on Northstar without hestitation. We will recommend Northstar to our friends.

I wanted to drop a note to thank NorthStar for the wonderful job they did in moving me. This was the first time I have ever used a moving company and what a pleasant surprise it was. Because of the delay in getting my notifications from our Homeowner's Association regarding the date I was required to move and from the construction company regarding the move back date, I realized that I was rushing them to do everything from estimates to scheduling the move date, out as well as back into my home. NorthStar's flexibility and extra efforts on my behalf were much appreciated. I have no hesitation in recommending NorthStar to any of my friends and neighbors.
