Devin is amazing. I broke my back and neck years ago, and though I have recovered, have lived in varying levels of chronic pain and discomfort ever since. Devin has been caring, extremely skilled and helpful in relieving some of my chronic pain and the misalignment of my ribs due to the injuries. I didn't even know the pain had anything to do with my ribs until Devin did a thorough assessment to get to the root of the problem. Years of seeing chiropractors, doing Yoga, receiving massage & CranioSacral therapy - even consultations (and x-rays) with Osteopaths and MD's - did not reveal this! She has such a warm, friendly and welcoming presence, too. I would recommend her to anyone suffering from conditions ranging from minor discomforts all the way to recovery from serious injuries.

Devin is the best! She has been working on some very stiff joints in my lower thoracic spine with great success. I used to have numbness and tingling in my right arm, but now it's been gone for weeks. She'll definitely make you laugh and maybe cry because it hurts so good. One hour sessions with a PT is you really need to get to the root of the problem. No aides and no wasted time on useless modalities.

Pros: Great Manual Therapist!

Cons: Only takes Blue Shield Insurance, but out of pocket or out of network are super reasonable.

Devin is a fantastic physical therapist, and her expertise spans a wide range of problems. She has relieved me from pain/injuries related to everything from pregnancy to sports-related injuries. I've had chronic neck and back pain that has caused debilitating headaches. After futile efforts to relieve the pain through massage therapy, general medical treatment, and chiropractic adjustments, Devin was able to target and treat my pain in just a few sessions. Now, I see her just as needed. As an added bonus, she's very personable and compassionate.

Pros: quality of care

Cons: I don't see any

Honestly! I'm a former physical therapist myself. In addition to being put at ease by Devin's winning manner, I am impressed by her confidence and skill. I originally saw Devin in the midst of sudden, incapacitating back pain that had defied diagnosis. She effectively determined the cause and began a manual therapy treatment program that brought immediate relief. She is so knowledgeable and attuned to the physiological changes during the course of treatment, she effortlessly adapted her program as my symptoms changed and then resolved. In my case, she also developed a pro active exercise program to support my progress and prevent future injury. She's the best!

Pros: Friendly, sensative and competent. Direct billing through Blue Shield.

Devin is GREAT!!! Brilliant at what she does, very hands-on and spends good quality time with her patient- no handing off to an assistant!! I've had over 10 years of chronic back and neck pain- and she has made my life bearable- much better quality of life...amazing what meeting the right pgysical therapist can do- I was gun-shy after some not-so-great experiences with other physical therapists and some chiropractors...she's tough!

Pros: Great consistent care- you only see her- no assistants!

Cons: None that I saw.

She is amazing..... Here is the story: Snowboarding and cycling for many years has done some serious damage to my back. Last Christmas, while snowboarding in Tahoe, I had a bit of an accident and mess up my back pretty bad. The result was a herniated disk causing severe numbness and chronic pain in my back and legs. I could barely walk for a month. My doctor said I would need surgery. Yikes! Surgery sacred me, so I decided to try physical therapy first. I went to several PT's with minimal results until a friend recommended Devin Pfister DPT. Devin knew exactly what was wrong and had a game plan ready for me. Under her care, my back improved dramatically and has gotten better after every session. Devin saved me from surgery! She is awesome, super knowledgeable and very personable! Currently, I am pain free and walking great! I recently started cycling again and planning a snowboarding trip to Tahoe this winter. I can't thank Devin enough. Thank you!!

Cons: doesn't take my insurance (kaiser).

Having had 7+ surgeries on my left knee, and having to deal with such an injury for over a decade, I have become a bit of an expert on physical therapy/therapists. I know the headache one gets with insurance companies and their ridiculous guidelines on how many appointments you can have, etc. That is why I kept with the therapist I am seeing currently. Stacee, Devon's new partner with FORM PT, has everything anyone needs. She has the experience, the immense knowledge of her field, and the technique to battle even the most difficult of cases (e.g. me). She can even help you with the most mundane of problems, such as how to run properly (if that is all that plagues you). Trust me, it may seem crazy to go to someone who only takes Blue Cross insurance or out-of-pocket payment, but with her and Devon's low hourly rates it makes it all seem worthwhile. Not only do you get a full hour of face-to-face with them, but you could also go there with out a prescription! Think anywhere else will do that? I did not think so. I have had Stacee as a physical therapist for over three years now, and I would not think of seeing anyone else. So, I think you should do the same and go see Stacee (or Devon) for your pt needs.

Devin is a fantastic body worker. I've had chronic pain for years and seen various physical therapists, chiropractors, and massage therapists- NONE with the results I've had with her. Highly recommended!

Pros: Pain relief for extended periods, full treatment by her-no subs/ass'ts

Cons: only takes Blue Shield- but actually, not expensive out of pocket
