Really don't understand the whole barber menu but this is a fun spot to go - the crowd is all finaancial dist. and can be a bit snobish - but my boyfriend gets a great cut

- Cons: complicated membership menu

I was in from out of town. I needed a hair cut and a beard trim. Some sketchy dude named "Nicky" effed up my head and I'm pretty sure he tried to rub his junk on me...that part was o.k.....
Great haircuts, awesome atmosphere

This place is great! I've been getting my haircut there since it opened. The barbers/stylists are terrific and it's a good deal too. For one monthly price, I get a haircut, a free trim in between cuts, a shoe shine and a drink. All for less than I used to pay a pricey Union Square stylist. The atmosphere is cool and relaxed and the ladies are very, very cute. I highly recommend Mr.
not the best

What I liked about this place was the atmosphere and the friendlyness of the staff. It's nice for location and you can get a drink while there. I thought the mebership thing was a little ridiculous but I've seen other places like it. What I hated was my haircut. It was probably the worst haircut I've had in ten years. I forgot the guys name that cut it but he was very nice yet he didn't have the skills to be cutting hair unless he was at a haircut express or something. He made me look like I was getting out of boot camp. I may go back and try another stylist. Very disappointing.
- Pros: atmosphere
- Cons: untalented barbor
Best Hang out and Hair cut in the city!

Where do I begin! I enjoy being greeted by name by the lovely ladies of MR. I was a little skeptical in the beginning about a shampoo before my haircut now I look forward to Erica's exciting shampoo and conditioner treatment. Next I'm off to Nicholas who has cut my hair Just the way I like it for several months now. You can't forget Frank! Hes the one who really makes sure I look good starting at the shoes. I really enjoy the fact that I can show up a little early have a drink before my haircut, set a little play list of songs that I like. Not to seem selfish but who doesn't like to feel like its all about them, and thats what MR. does... YOU are the valued "member". Whether its Happy hour, a shape up, or a full on cut, I have enjoyed every experience so far at MR! Sean and Kumi You did it right with this one!
- Pros: Appointments, Ambience, Service,
Not your average barbershop, this gentleman's joint doubles as a sports bar with a gigantic TV, fireplace and comfy couches.

In Short
College buddies Sean and Kumi once struggled to find a decent barber in town so they decided to take matters into their own hands. Here, guys can drink beer, wine, soju, coffee and tea while getting groomed. With or without a club membership--it pays to be a player, hitter or a mogul--confident men also get massages, haircuts, shaves, and watch big games together.
This place is phenomenal!!!

Pretty phenomenal spot! About time something like this came to San Francisco. Read about it in the Chronicle and decided to check it out, and have been monitoring their progress on-line. So I finally took the plunge this week. The place is gorgeous. Staff is cute, barbers are good, and the atmosphere is cool. I most definitely recommend it to anyone. It's not cheap, but then nothing worth it ever is.
