I had my permanent teeth by the time I was five, and within a year I fell face-first over my bike and broke them both in half. Ever since that day, I've had to return to the dentist repeatedly to replace these teeth. After a recommendation from a co-worker, I went to Ben Amini at Citident to have these crowns replaced. My teeth has never looked BETTER!!! These teeth are so comfortable and match the rest of my teeth perfectly! On top of that the office is great, everyone is in a great mood; ALL the time. My favorite part of visiting Citident is listening to "Liquid Metal" on XM radio while getting my teeth fixed. If you live in San Francisco, and have teeth, there is no reason NOT to go to Citident.

Pros: EVERYTHING!!! Great staff, close to BART and MUNI, skillful expertise... best.. dentist...ever

Dr. Amini has been my dentist for the past 2 years. I have had extensive work carried out. I have been a bit of challenge but Dr. Amini has been so thorough and his work absolutely first rate. My teeth look better than I ever could have dreamt of. I can't thank Dr. Amini enough - [when I first saw my new teeth it was like a scene from the Swan!]. The entire experience at Citident is fantastic - it feels like a really tight knit team all with a consistently friendly manner - from the warm welcome from the receptionists, through to the modern, clean treatment areas and not forgetting helpful Naz in billing. I recommend Citident to all my friends and my mother is coming over from England in the New Year to take advantage of the wonderful treatment [and the weak dollar!].

I have been seeing Dr. Amini for a little over 3 years. I always have a positive experience with him and his office staff. Recently, I had a 10 year old crown replaced. I WAS AMAZED AT THE DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY between the two crowns. The first one was to big and didn't match the other front tooth. It stood out and was quite noticeable. Dr. Amini, not only matched the size perfectly, he sent me to the lab so that they could customize the match and make the tooth look exactly as the other front tooth. I've never been happier. People have already noticed the change. I would recommend Dr. Amini and his practice to anyone who wants high quality work done at an affordable price and demands great customer service. I THINK THAT'S EVERYONE!!

This is the best dentist I have ever been to. They are always on time, efficient, thorough and friendly. They also the time to check your insurance coverage before performing extra services and let you know the cost so there are no surprises. This dentist also uses the best technology.

Dr Amini is one of the best dentists in the Bay Area. I always had problems with my teeth in the past. I just wasn’t borne with strong teeth. Unfortunately on the top of that I went through some dentists that were nothing but butchers that did a horrible work in my mouth that needed to be replaced in a matter of months. I’m talking about bridges and crowns that had to be replaced up to 3 times at my own expense. I’m talking about thousands of dollars. I get irritated just by writing about it because it all came out of my pocket because I didn’t have dental insurance. Then 10 years ago I met Dr. Amini. He’s been my dentist ever since. He is not only one of the nicest guy you ever meet but one of the best dentists as well. He has a very high tech office. Great location right off Bart or Muni. The office is clean, cozy and you can even access the internet while you wait to get numb. His staff is professional and friendly. They have a little camera that takes picture of your tooth and you can see on a screen. Dr. Amini tells you exactly what’s going on pointing to the image, your options and gives you the best advices. He is a Virgo with extremely attention to detail. The work he does is beautiful and he will match the fillings exactly with the color of your tooth. You will leave his office with a great smile on your face.

Pros: You will leave his office 100% satisfied

My headline says it all - and no I do not normally take time to write reviews. The fact is I am a 54 year old male who had significant dental problems after years of fear of going to the dentist. I met Ben Amini in 1998 and liked him but was panicked. We discussed pain - and he does have completely pain free expertise with teeth. After that first visit, I have been a patient for 10 years! Get this - my teeth were so bad, I started out with several root canals. Not one bit of pain ever! Ben and his super sharp team have - over a decade - built me a new set of porcelin teeth - and given me the ability to smile BIGTIME! You will dig the style and the surroundings as well as the people. The office is super San Francisco contemporary. Each of the chairs has internet, plasma screens, email capabilities - and XM satellite radio! IHis clients are as diverse as San Francisco. The Team is the best. They take insurance and help you maximize benefits. They work with your schedule. They are no-doubt THE STATUS DENTIST OFFICE! Walking into Citident is a reprieve from the outside world - almost spa-like. Citident - Ben Amini is a brilliant professional who can do everything from pulling a tooth to doing an implant to building you the whitest brightest smile in San Francisco - er in California - er in the USA! I was very much amazed how painless and hazzle free visits to dentist can be. Other Dentists can learn a lot from Dr Amini. I actually found the process from my initial phone call to my actual visits to his dental office extra-ordinarily pleasant. He is extremely knowlegeable, very personable, and goes out of his way in providing extra service. My opiniion of him and his practice is based on several visits to his office. I am usually reluctant in refering friends and family to any practiioner, but in Dr. Amini's case, I have eargerly refered friends, family and my adult son to him. It was a joy to have discovered his dental practice and without any question my search for a GREAT dentist is over. The procedures was fully explained to me and all alternatives considered. In addition every aspect of the insurance converage.. including options were thouroughly explained .. I highly recommend him- Shehu

09/17/07 Citident 120 Battery St. San Francisco, CA 94114 Many of us have had the experience where we felt we were going more to a mechanic than a dentist. Citident is the only dentist that I’ve been to in the city that I know I will receive high quality service and at a fair rate. I’ll be honest. Twice, when I was with out insurance, I took some advertised dentist’s introductory offers in an attempt to save some money. Once, I could tell during the check up they missed a cavity and I came running back. The other time, I could tell the “other” dentist was trying to sell me the London Bridge, and again, I came running back to Citident. Dr. Amini’s office has always focused on building a relationship with his clients. His staff is always friendly and he creates a comfortable atmosphere for his clients. I’ve always had my options clearly presented to me and have always been giving the opportunity to make an informed decision and participate in my own care. Also, his office has always happy to work with me when needed. Frankly, this is the only dentist I’ll go to. And I’m always recommending his office to my friends. Best Regards, Seth Breedlove

I found this office online based on the recommendations and great reviews. Everything from making the appointment to my experience during my visit and examination was a five star quality. Everyone there is very nice and Dr. Amini is really nice and professional and informative. The office is very impressive with the latest technology in dentistry. I was very comfortable and did not feel any pressure from the treatment manager/coordinator, unlike some other reviews here. I am very glad to find this dentist because it's not my most favorite thing in the world, but these guys actually made it fun.

I just relocated to San Francisco and broke my veneer on a Sunday. I searched on line and located Dr. Amini and was able to be seen by him the very next day. The office is very modern and nicely appointed. The staff was accommodating and helpful as they registered me in their computer system. I was seen almost immediately after checking in and my veneer was immediately addressed in the modern exam room (they have flat screens on every dental chair). He examined my broken tooth, took an x-ray (digital) and looked inside my mouth with a digital camera and was able to recommend the appropriate treatment. He determined that another veneer was able to be done, saving my tooth from being grinded away and crowing it, something I was afraid of. The procedure was very quick and professional and I was able to listen to music as he worked on my tooth. The dental assistants were very knowledgeable and very efficient, I was literally in and done in less than an hour, temporary and all. He even made a custom temporary which looked as good as my other veneers (yes, I have nine more, but they are MINE). Thanks to Dr. Amini no one noticed anything happened and could continue my day to day activities without being self-conscious about my tooth being cracked in half. The office was clean, modern and classy. The dental chairs have internet access (you could surf the web or check your email if you have time) and was immediately attended to by an assistant. Dr. Amini’s bedside manners were very professional, personable and knowledgeable. Although I saw him for any emergency, I was seen and treated like I have been a patient of record for years, very VIP. I will definitely be a patient for life and highly recommend anyone needing a dentist to see Dr. Amini, he is not just a dentist but also an artist. I could not imagine my permanent veneer looking any better that what he made in five minutes as I waited, very impressive.
