Yes, the cashmere and premium denim here cost just about as much as one would find anywhere else in the neighborhood, but this well-lit corner boutique stands out for its mixture of high-end and moderately priced labels. In simply decorated space with hardwood floors and crisp green stripes bordering the ceiling, shoppers graze on (relatively) inexpensive tees from Junk Food and Local Celebrity before sifting through dishy tops, bottoms and dresses from designers like Twinkle by Wenlan, Kenzie and Original Penguin.

AWESOME STORE!!!

I am sooo happy there is now a store on chesnut street where the prices are actually reasonable. Sure, the jeans and cashmere is just as expensive as everywhere else, but everytime I shop here I walk out with a cute dress or top for under $100. So I can actually buy something fun to go out in that night and not feel too guilty about it. The jewelry is really great too--not too pricey, great for girlfriend presents. And the owners are awesome--cool girls that are good at picking things out and kinda fun to shop with. Overall, killer store!!!

Cute selection!

I stopped into Y & I today on Chestnut. Very cute collection! Free People, Sanctuary, etc. They carry some unique pieces: Sanctuary dresses and some cute pants. Prices are reasonable and the merchandise is easy to browse through.

• Pros: Cute selection, reasonable prices, adorable dresses!
• Cons: Not too many skirts, limited denim selection
