Better than Zeitgeist???

While the clientèle is less obnoxious than Zeitgeist, Zeitgeist has far better beer, food and atmosphere.

And name.

Neighborhood nuisance

I've lived in the neighborhood for years, and seen it all. What is it about this bar that attracts so many rude, loud obnoxious jerks (male and female) who block the sidewalk and make it a giant drag to walk by. We had plenty of undesirables already -- I never thought, as a bicyclist, that I'd find a group of bikers so offensive -- get over your lame-o fixie lifestyles and at least pretend to not be so inconsiderate. Geeezus.

Good beer and brat selections. Indoor bike parking. Pool table. What more could you ask for? (how 'bout a patio...?)

Fun bar, great staff - Try the potato salad!!

When i first walked in, i was surprised to see the bike racks, double decker...filled with every kind of bike imaginable... the bar had a good vibe going on, great tunes playing, people playing pool, eating, drinking these massive liters of beer... it made me laugh. I?m more of a vodka drinker and the thought of a liter of beer was hard to swallow...well, until i had one... one was all i needed. It was a deal, $8 for the beer and somewhere around $4 for my bratwurst, $2 for this yummy warm potato salad. I will be going back for sure!

With 24 indoor bike racks and a sparse decor of black walls and deer heads, there's no glitter here--except for the ceiling covered in Christmas lights. A pool table sits in front while the rest of the space is filled with simple tables and chairs. The bar in back offers liters or pints of Stella, Prohibition, Fat Tire and the hard-to-find Edelweiss. The sausages, from hot links and Italian to Bavarian bratwurst and Keilabasa, are also prepared at the bar. Vegan and organic options are available.
