After a car accident I was feeling severe neck and lowback pain. I couldn't bend over, sleep was difficult and it was difficult to turn my neck. After 2 Visits with Dr. Alex I felt much better. After further treatment I felt back to normal. Reading the reviews made me feel very comfortable and I felt they are all accurate on accounts. Dr. Alex was compassionate with speaking to me and not rushing me. He also was very knowledgeable, answered my all my questions and I never felt rushed. Also there massage therapist stretched me out on a couple occasions which was very helpful The office is clean and nicely decorated and the location was quite central with parking.

Pros: Short wait time, Late appointments and Great Care

Cons: Baseball games

I can't say enough about this office. My last chiro was out and I hurt myself at work. I called this office after finding out my office was closed two days early for the July 4th weekend on July 2nd. I called 3C after 5 pm in hope I can get in on the third. They were able to fit me in that day within 15 minutes even though they were seeing patients. I found out they work until 7pm. My current chiro office stays open until 5 pm. So if you are looking for someone to be open late this is the place to go. Great location, parking in front of the building and one of the most well decorated offices that I have seen. Dr. Alex was thorough, personable and informative. I felt better immediately and he called me the next day. I would give more stars if I could, thanks for being there!

I had pain in my left hip for several weeks that would come and go. I saw a doctor, tried stretching recommended by a physical therapist, but it still continued. I received a mailer from the California Chiropractic Clinic and since it was in my neighborhood, I called for an appointment. I had never been to a chiropractor before, so I did not know what to expect -- but Dr. Alex put me completely at ease. He spent a lot of time asking me questions and then explaining to me what was wrong and how he would treat it. I felt MUCH better after the first visit, and after a few more, the pains were almost completely gone. I am now in "maintenance mode" and enjoy going for an office visit with is charming decor, relaxing atmosphere and great staff. I also had a massage as part of the treatment and it was the best one I ever had! I highly recommend the California Chiropractic Clinic to others looking for alternative treatments

I first contacted Dr. Alex because I’m an aspiring chiropractor and was looking for a chiropractor to shadow. Dr. Alex immediately took me under his wing and invited me to come in. During my visits with Dr. Alex he not only takes time out of his busy schedule to talk with me about the profession, but he also has taken me on as patient to give me a first hand experience of chiropractic care (free of charge)! I can’t be more pleased with the time I’ve spent at California Chiropractic Center. The office itself is in an easily accessible location with plenty of metered and non-metered parking in the surrounding neighborhood. Inside, the office has a modern yet homely feel to it and Sara, the warm and friendly office manager, is always waiting with a smile. I have to admit I was a little nervous at first receiving treatments only because I consider myself to be a healthy individual with no serious ailments. However, after just a few visits with Dr. Alex I noticed an improvement in my overall well being and range of motion in my back. Every time I leave his office I feel like I just did something good for my body. I’m lucky to have such a great mentor and I look forward to seeing more of Dr. Alex!

So I called 5 offices yesterday (Tuesday) and no one could fit me in or they were closed. I think "they could not fit me in" was code for being closed or being out to lunch. I called California Chiropractic Center and they got me in within the hour even though they were pretty busy. Dr. Alex took time out of his lunch to see me. I came in with serious midback pain, where I could not move very quickly and had difficulty breathing. I considered going to the emergency room but I didn't hurt myself and I am pretty healthy condition. Immediately after the adjustment I felt better. Later that day I felt back to normal an the next day I felt great. I would definitely refer someone to Dr. Alex and will be coming in more often. What spawned me to write this review is the pure fact he called the next morning to see how I am doing. Unexpected but much appreciated. I don't think I would have wrote the review even though I felt better but since I found them on here I thought people should know about this. Thanks you very much!!!

Pros: After hours availability, Nice office, Friendly staff, Easy and available parking

Cons: Expensive parking but this is the city!

I had dealt with back pain for about ten years so just ignoring the pain was really all I ever did. All of a sudden I had been experiencing a horrible pain in my lower back that would come and go. After about a week of not being able to move around very well a friend suggested I see Dr. Franceschi. I actually had never been to a chiropractor and reluctantly set up an appointment. Just on my first visit I felt very comfortable being there. Everyone was very friendly and Dr. Franceschi was extremely informative helpful about how to take care of my back in between visits. After only about a week and a half my pain had almost completely gone away. I have been going for about three months now and my back has never felt better. I have had such a great experience with California Chiropractic Center that I would suggest it to anyone.

My name is Mr. Allison Barton Rice, at the time that I am writing this I've been seeing Dr. Alex Franceschi at the California Chiropractic Center for about four months. I initially went to Dr. Franceschi for a severe back issue (something like a "budging disc") that was brought on by stress. This happened to me once before about 13 years ago. At that time, I was only able to find relief and healing with chiropractic treatment and care. This was after a few months of NO relief or healing via regular M.D.s (just pain medication in that case). This time, I didn't waste any time with M.D.s. I immediately sought out chiropractic treatment when I developed a back problem. I live near Dr. Franceschi's office and I had seen some of the California Chiropractic Center's advertising, so there I went. I find Dr. Franceschi to be most competent, thorough, friendly, and thoughtful. He assessed my problem well and began treatment which brought significant relief quickly, and complete relief and wellness in a short period of time. I continue to see Dr. Franceschi for physical wellness and maintenance. Further, I recommend Dr. Franceschi and the California Chiropractic Center for anyone in need of such care and for regular physical wellness and maintenance.

Unfortunately, I found myself in a position where I couldn't visit my partner's trusted chiropractor...instead opting to try one relatively close to work and with good reviews on Citysearch. What a horrible mistake! Not only did the "Doctor" have a horrible bedside-manner, I felt like I was being assaulted instead of adjusted. I also should mention he neglected to give me an Xray and "treated" me without having any knowledge of my body, save for a quick entrance checklist. The pain in my back is now acute and far more severe--I'm afraid he may have done permanent damage. I am visiting my medical practitioner for an exam and Xray tomorrow morning and hope to find otherwise.

I have an L4 and L5 disc hiernation. I get back pain often and really bad back pain every 6 months. I came in to see Dr. Alex and I can say I have been pretty pain free for over 2 months. With my last epsiode of back pain I was unable to sleep, sit at work and I could barely get up from a sitting or laying position. I wish I came in sooner! Dr. Alex defintely takes his time with you on the first visit and explains everything. I have seen a couple of chiropractors and if they just took half the time he did I think I would have come in more. He also gave me a call the next day which is unherad of in a large city, almost a small town courtesy. He also gave me alot of recommendations other than chiro which also made a huge difference in my life. Great location, parking, friendly staff and a well decorated office make this experince over 5 stars. I would recommend Dr. Alex to all my friends, family or enemies to come here. I just want to say thank you so much!!!!

I just had my first massage with Gina Abrescy, and whether or not she knows it, her incredible de-stressing of my mind and body probably saved countless lives in my office! Gina is a certified massage therapist - meaning she understands how the body works and how not to harm it in the process of healing (unlike a "spa masseuse" that just rubs the body without a clue about what works and why). Before laying a hand on me, Gina took the time to ask the right questions about both my physical health and state of mind, then adapted her skills to address my specific issues. I started my work day with a headache, feeling thick and sluggish, and generally run down despite healthy eating, drinking lots of water, getting rest - all the "right" things. By the time she was done with me - and that 60 minutes passed much too quickly! - I felt like a new person! The massage room was clean, warm and comfortable, and you can't get more convenient in South Beach than 2nd and Brannan. I can definitely see massage therapy with Gina Abrescy becoming a regular part of my overall wellness routine (and let's face it - it feels really, really good!).
