Great location near the Embarcadero Center. I checked in on a Monday and checked out on Wednesday. Check-in was easy and painless. Same for check-out. Only downside of checkout is that they don't slide your bill under your door so that you can check out from your room; but it's pretty quick to check out at the lobby. The rooms were small. I was a little annoyed that a "king" sized bed was actually two twin beds pushed together. So I couldn't sleep in the center of the bed without feeling the ridge down the center. Rooms were clean. Bathrooms were adequate with plenty of lighting. The lobby area with all the couches, etc. was very nice--they had a large television playing, with several computers set up offerring free internet access and free printing. Also plenty of magazines and newspapers around to read while waiting for coworkers, etc. to join up with you. There is an attached bar/restaurant to the hotel. They also offer free filtered water in the hallway of each floor. Overall, my stay here was pleasant although not "luxurious."
- Pros: Quick check-in and out; free internet access with computers in lobby
- Cons: king sized bed was actually two twin beds pushed together
Great deal for what you pay.

My wife and I enjoyed this stay @ Club Quarters. Great service at front desk as far as check in and out,
knowledgable of local area shopping, restaurants and nightlife and very friendly. The room was small and cozy but had most of the amenities that you need. Great safe location.
- Pros: Soft bed, free purified water and perfect for businessman and sightseeing couple.
- Cons: shower only in bathroom
Very clean with absolutely no in-room amenities

The room was extremely clean and the price was pretty good. However, the walls are PAPER THIN and the rooms are very small. You can not only hear quiet conversation through the walls, but clearly understand everything that is said. A much bigger issue is that this place advertises that there is free wireless internet access throughout the hotel. This, to their own admission, is not true. Only the first two floors have access, and the access is spotty. Upon hearing this and after having complained, they put me on the third floor. I was able to achieve connection a few times, but the drop-offs were substantial and the connection extremely poor. Additionally, the rooms have a very small TV and a bed, but nothing else. There is no fridge and very little storage space.
- Pros: Very clean, reasonable price, great location
- Cons: No amenities, terrible internet service, very thin walls

My friend and I went here for a birthday party. When I first walk in the club feels a bit cozy. It's a nice, clean, up-to-date hotel. Being a budget traveler, it is rare that I get to stay somewhere this nice so inexpensively. It was easy to get to Union Square and Fisherman's Wharf from here, and when it was time to go, the BART station was only 2-3 blocks away for people without cars. I would definitely recommend staying at CQ to anyone traveling to SF, or to any city w/a CQ. The Financial District is quiet on the weekends, but it's easy to travel to other places in the city using Muni. This is one of the most recommened club to goto if your in san francisco.
