Where do I even beginning to describe what an amazing and personal experience Marc made designing my engagement ring. My fiancé and I had been to numerous fine jewelers in the hunt for a ring and all of them left me feeling there was something lacking. When I ran across Hand in Hand’s website, I was excited at the prospect of getting something more unique, but I had no idea what was in store for me when my fiancé and I went in for our first consultation. Not only was it a completely painless process, I had a blast talking to Marc, and the sheer genuine interest he had in what I was hoping to do and who we are as a couple completely blew me away. If you are looking for an amazing, unique, high quality, and thoughtful piece of jewelry look no further. Marc’s straightforward manner is really refreshing, since so often you leave a jewelry store feeling like you have spent time in a used car lot. He is more than happy to go into every detail or the process, and if you are a stickler for details like myself, it is brilliant to have a company that WANTS you to know everything from your materials options to where all that money is going. It is really astounding what they can do with a few rough ideas of what you would like. For all of you guys trying to surprise your girl, I highly recommend Hand in Hand not only because you will get a one of a kind piece, but also due to Marc’s ability to take a few details about a person and make something they would truly love. Lastly I just must say that you won’t find another jeweler who genuinely cares about you and making your engagement and/or wedding one of the most wonderful days of your life. I adore my ring and we will most definitely be going back to Hand in Hand for my fiancé’s wedding band. I hope you will make the intelligent choice and give Hand in Hand a call, you won’t regret it!

I was searching the web for engagement ring information when I ran across the Hand in Hand website and I knew that this was the company I wanted to design my girlfriend’s engagement ring. The quality and attention to detail were apparent in the beautiful and unique designs in the gallery. I contacted Hand in Hand and had an initial consultation with Marc that lasted at least an hour. He asked me lots of questions about my girlfriend and me. I had some initial ideas for the ring design which Marc listened to, but really wanted his expertise in designing something unique and beautiful. I appreciated Marc walking me through every step of the process and answering all my questions and alleviating all my concerns. Marc did an excellent job of meeting my deadline even juggling the schedule at the end to make it happen. When I first saw the finished ring I thought it was stunning, any reservations might have had vanished the instant I saw the ring. In spite of being involved in every aspect of the ring design I still couldn’t fully appreciate the design until I saw it. Not from my fiancé: I was so excited to be getting engaged to the man I love. When I opened the box, I was touched deeply to find such a beautiful representation of our love. I love that he helped create something unique for me. It makes me feel so special knowing that this ring was made with me in mind using his ideas with his love for me guiding the project. People are intrigued by the original design and compliment me frequently. The service was excellent, email and phone responses were always prompt and my satisfaction is high. We do intend to work with him in the near future to have my wedding ring designed.

We decided to go with Hand in Hand because we looked for a long time in jewelry stores across the country and could not find rings that we would want to wear for the rest of our lives. We wanted to love our rings. Adore them even. We have been together for almost 10 years and the decision to have a wedding was monumental for many reasons. We wanted to find rings that spoke to the strength and uniqueness of our relationship. Buying pre-designed rings just did not fit for us. We began to look for ways to customize our rings and interviewed some San Francisco ring designers. Our meeting with Marc at H in H was exciting because we realized that the ring design would be a collaboration of his ideas (and expertise, great quality workmanship) and our own ideas. The final result is brilliant. The diamond placement and etching are superbly executed. Marc is caring, loving and talented. We are very happy!
