I had heard about Phlox, but couldn't appreciate the good things that I heard until I stepped in. I was swimming in super-cute stuff everywhere. Since I couldn't buy everything, the decision was difficult, but I settled in on 2 new pair of jeans, from Level 99, and 2 amazing t-shirts from Splendid. All that for just under $288! Of course on the higher end, they do have dresses from the likes of Linda Loudermilk which are amazing, but will set you back to the same amount. Staff was also super sweet and helped me find the right size denim. You won't have to twist my arm to go back.
Pros: Amazing Clothes
Cons: None

Super gorgeous clothing! I couldn't leave the store. Also, check out the other boutiques within blocks of Phlox including Amalee (Beech street), Pin-Me-Apparel, Gypsy Chic, Same Underneath and Blue. This is the best street for boutiques in town!
Pros: It's on a street known as the beautiful boutique row

This place has great quality clothings and unique fashions that do not look overly trendy and cheap. The clothes are beautiful and of high quality, so it is worth the extra money. I found the most beautiful cocktail dress for the holidays. The best part is that I know no one else will show up in my dress.
Pros: Great clothes
Cons: Spendy

Phlox is my favorite of the Mississippi clothing boutiques. Not as hippy-dippy as Gypsy chic, or as aggressively hipster as Pin Me. A great selection of clothes that you're not going to see in many other local stores (and therefore not on very many local women). Prices tend to be high, but you can find some real scores at the sale area in the back. The $500 wool coat in the window draws you in, but the $55 tulip skirt (was $98) makes the trip worthwhile.
Pros: Unique selection, pleasant store atmosphere
Cons: Prices

This shop is great for one of a kind pieces. She also carries some great lines that have a good Portland feel. Will be back very soon!
