DISAPPOINTING RESULTS

Dr. Friedenthal performed liposuction and breast augmentation on my wife in 2007. All of the following is in my opinion only, and not to be confused as statements of fact. I am sure Dr. Friedenthal has many happy patients, and we are the exception. He positioned the breast implant pockets too high up on her chest, especially for a young woman, and they do not hang correctly as a result. The right breast is higher than the other. The liposuction results included an overwhelming number of unexpected flaws. Unfortunately, he removed fat from her posterior (upper rear) thighs, an area he was not even supposed to touch. This apparently caused her buttocks to sag and created a deeper crease beneath them. He also squared off her hips, rather than maintaining the curve. He created a flat spot on the underside of her left buttock. He used ?Vaser? technology, which may have been overkill for her petite 98 pound body. This created deep scar tissue in her left buttock, and her right outer thigh - which now has ugly ripples when she sits. She also gained lumpiness in her previously smooth buttocks. Other very reputable surgeons whom examined her concluded that the flaws could have been avoided, and could not be fully corrected. Revision surgery has not resolved most of the flaws in my wife's altered figure.

• Cons: Bad results, deeply regret chosing this surgeon

Dr. Roger Friedenthal is best plastic surgeon in SF

Ditto to everything all the other reviewers have written about him. He is patient and thorough. One of the best things about him is that he NEVER, EVER tries to sell you to get other procedures done that you didn't even ask about! I love this about him--you can ask him about about having a procedure and he'll tell whether or not it will be worth it. I recommend him to anyone and everyone who wants to have work done!

Dr.Friedenthal is the BEST

I had rhinoplasty done by Dr.Friedenthal about a year ago. The results are amazing and I could not be happier.

After recommending him to couple of friends of mine for the same procedure there results came out just terrific as mine. He is truly the best plastic surgeon out there.

AMAZING RESULTS!!!

Very soon it would be exactly one year since my surgery with Dr. Friedenthal and I can not be more happier with my results and with my choice in choosing such an amazing doctor. I would recommend him to anyone.

he work wonders

Last year was the first time I ever had cosmetic surgery. I chose Dr.Friedenthal because I sensed he was very experienced and he was very kind. During the consultation he took over an hour to explain the procedure and answered all of my questions. I had surgery and I am very happy with the perfect results I recieved. His staff is very professional and his wife is very helpful and knowledgeable. I have spoken to other people who went to other surgeons and their experience was nothing like the tender care and positive results I recieved with Dr. Friedenthal. I am happy to recommend him to anyone considering surgery.

• Pros: quality care, compassion, understanding, trust worthy
• Cons: parking in the building can be trying

Best plastic surgeon-fabulous staff!!

There can be a fairly significant amount of guilt and indecision when one begins to explore the process of plastic surgery (i.e "this is frivolous", "there are better ways to spend my time and money", "why do we spend so much time focusing on our physical appearances", etc etc) Dr. Friedenthal talked me through all of my questions. He listened was compassionate and did wonderful work. It is two years since and I couldn't be happier with the result. Dr. Friedenthal is brilliant he has a thriving practice because he continues to care about what he does and about those with whom he works. He is also a professor at UCSF-we are lucky that others are being mentored and taught by such a wonderful practioner.

• Pros: smart, thoughtful, concerned about every aspect

The BEST plastic surgeon in town!!!

A Top Notch Plastic Surgeon

Referred by several friends who had surgery with him in the past; everyone I know has had a positive experience; took plenty of time to answer all questions; excellent vision of what beautiful is work and is so suble you don't look like you have had plastic surgery; just completed another procedure with him and am very pleased with results;
