Walnut cleaners has lost multiple items of mine and when they do they only tell me to "go buy another one." I have never used a cleaners witha worse track record and do not recommend using walnut cleaners if you want to keep your clothing after you dry clean it. They have also lost various items of friends and other family members.

DO NOT PATRON THIS BUSINESS!! They are extremely rude and do not deliver your alterations/dry cleaning on time. My order for alterations that I needed for the Christmas holiday was a week late, then a week later I came to pick it up and it was still not ready. No common courtest or apology. That was just the way it was, according to them. THEN, after waiting two weeks, they lost my favorite shirt that I had brought in for alterations. I understand mistakes happend but when I asked if they could help me locate it the woman who did the alterations refused. She argued with me telling me that I never even brought it in. She took no time to even look for it. Having the shirt altered was the whole reason for bringing in my items!!! Bottom line : The alterations are sloppy, not to speficiations, overpriced, rude service, disrespectful of customers, and an all over a dishonest and unprofessional business.
Pros: NONE!!!!
Cons: Disrespectful, no parking, unprofessional, rude, and late delivery of orders

My friends recommended this place for dress alterations, so I took two dresses there that just needed the straps shortened. I was there at 3pm Friday afternoon and was promised a 2pm pickup time on Saturday so I could wear one of them to a wedding on Sunday. I show up at 4pm Saturday and first they cannot find the dresses, then they find them and they had not even started the alterations! The daughters that work there were rude, told me that I need to understand that people forget sometimes. Are you kidding me? Wow, surely a sign of a poorly run business if that is their excuse. I waited until 5:30 next door until they finished, and on top of that would not even give me a discount for the inconvenience! They charged me $25...seems a little steep for shortening straps. My advice...DO NOT under any circumstances take alterations there if you need them by a certain date...unreliable, completely unprofessional about not having my order done, and not cheap either. Oh, and the finished product is not great either...the thread they used is a different color than my dress and you can see it. :(
Pros: None...maybe convenience if you live in the Marina?
Cons: Unreliable, rude service, order not done when promised
