My comments are completely unbiased, based on actual comparison with other Arborists in the Bay Area. Just look at the trees, look at the cuts, the pruning, the clean-up, the attention to detail - all based on a foudation of the highest quality customer service, safety, fair pricing, honesty and integrity. Period. You will see the difference by simply looking at the work; are the cuts noticeable? You just won't find any other Bay Area Arborist with such a solid, and well-rounded demeanor. Personally, I think Dima is way to under-rated to be evaluated on CitySearch . . . he deserves national recognition; and he will get it someday. I give him an 11.

Dmitri came highly recommended by my landscaper, and I can see why. Dmitri and his crew struck a nice balance between letting in more light and thinning where needed without being overly aggressive in cutting any of our trees. They did an excellent job.
Pros: Amazing work
Cons: Seemed a little pricey, but worth it.

I've been using Dmitri for 4 years and have been very happy with his work. He's always right on with his advice, too. (Dmitri, thanks for persuading me not to remove my Blackwood Acacia - it's looking great these days.)
Pros: great customer service
Cons: it's taken a couple of weeks to get on his schedule some times

Aesthetic pruners are not easy to find and in particular ones who possess "people skills" and professionalism. Dmitri and his crew are conscientious, arrive when they say are going to and are extremely skilled at what they do. They were careful not to damage surrounding plants and took their time in grooming my big trees so they were opened up as they should be. No chop jobs here. Probably the most pleasant experience I've had working with a "contractor" in a very long time. The job was done exactly as proposed, no surprises.
Pros: fast workers
