This place has it all! I live in the Marina and it's nice to finally have a "neighborhood" bar. It's always a great time on Friday and Saturday nights, with a good crowd and upbeat music. It's also the perfect sports bar, they have every major sporting event on, and have developed relationships with fan groups that make for a fun environment. I even enjoy the mellower weeknights when there's live music performed by up-and-coming artists. Apparently now they accept credit cards too, which used to be the only downside to the place since I never carry much cash. I would definitely recommend KTs any day, any time!

Pros: Sports package, friendly bartenders, diverse entertainment

Cons: None, now that they take credit cards!

It is amazing that this is the same place that was a dump only a few years back. Beautifully decorated, with increcible woodwork and stylish detail, this place is part woody Irish pub, part upscale SF hangout. Pool table in back, nice sized dance floor, well poured drinks and frindly servers. Having lived in the Presidio for 8 years, I am glad to have a nice place that is a good combination of kick back, but really well done. Plus, the place is big enough that on weekend nights you can still move around without getting beer spilled on you every five minutes.

Pros: setting, drinks, people.

Cons: parking can be tough on weekend nights, but this is san francisco!

This place gets a bad rap just b/c it's in the Marina, but I love it. The girls who work there are super cute and friendly. Its really packed on the weekends, especially with football. Weekdays are the time to go. It's less crowded by far and easier to play pool, which is free. Shuffleboard too! By far the best bar in the Marina and one of the best in the city.

Pros: Staff, Games, Sports Packages

There's always a crowd and they feature live local music, so it's a pretty cool bar. Other than the beer on tap being kinda warm, it's a good time. Beware of drunk college students-- but the bouncers do a good job of kicking them out.

Pros: Atmosphere, live music

Cons: warm beer, PARKING!

Great times all around at Kelley's. After opening strong in March this place still packs em in on the weekends and the crowd is always a good time. Wednesdays have turned into a great time also with live music from talented locals looking to showcase thier stuff. I'm in this place at least once a week!

Actually have a conversation and meet people worth talking to at Kelley's Tavern. Kelley's is a down to earth irish-style pub 'on campus'. Stone walls and a traditional bar make it feel warm and cozy esp on a rainy or foggy evening! A mellow vibe but upbeat and "hot" bartenders make it a place to relax and socialize rather than get trampled on by drunk marina girls;) at other places on fillmore.

Pros: HOT bartenders, Good Crowd, Something Different

I love this place! My girlffriends and I have stopped into Kelley's on more than one occasion to meet with friends and have always found the staff more than accommodating, helpful and probably the most friendly of any bar in the Marina. If Cheer's were set in this city, they would film it here! We met my brother's crew there for the Final Four games last weekend and loved how cool the crowd was. Get's crowded on the weekends, but that's what I like. You feel like you know everyone there after a couple of visits. And the leather sofas in the back by the fireplace are the perfect setting for people watching and taking it easy. A great looking crowd who appear to have a fun time, tasty cocktails, fun (hot!) bartenders, and no sloppy drunks makes it my prime spot. This place is exactly what the area needed.

Pros: comfy interior, fun crowd, great drinks

Cons: gets busy

What a great place for us Kittens in the Marina! We love it at Kelley's Tavern. It's a great place for game days. On Monday for the NCAA Championship, everyone showed up in their team colors. On weekends, since it's opening, KT's has brought in Marina's finest guys and girls to mingle, flirt, and hangout.

I gave Kelley's Tavern a second chance a few days ago and it was a complete disappointment just like the first time. Even though it was a Saturday, there were very few people there. To make it worse, none of them were very attractive or seemed to be having a good time. The alcohol selection was very limited, both on beers and cocktails. I had to have my fourth choice of drink - a beer that wasn't even that cold. I don't recall any music being on, which didn't help the experience. You would think that given the slim crowd, the service would be top notch. Wrong again. The bartender seemed to be much more interested in carrying conversations rather than tending bar. And once I had his attention, he was rude and less than friendly. Overall, a very negative experience that I don't recommend anyone to try for themselves.

Pros: Empty, Better bars near by

Cons: Drink choice and temp, bad crowd, bad atmosphere

Kelley's was super fun this weekend. I'm glad they've managed to salvage this place and it's clientele from the Triangle. From the decor to the drinks this place has potential to be a hot spot however, I wish they would invest in a D.J. for the night time. I would prefer to party amongst some good beats in the background as opposed to U2's Joshua Tree album. Although it is an Irish tavern, it would be more fun if it had the right sounds that would motivate people to have a good time. Overall, fun times if your expecting something mellow!

Pros: Atmosphere, Pool Tables , Drinks

Cons: Music, Music, Music
