We were originally booked on the Muir Woods Combo Tour, but the day before they called to cancel and offered us the five hour City Tour that was basically the same thing without Muir Woods. I suspect they cancelled Muir Woods due to not enough participants. They were very pleasant and extremely professional, and the difference in price between the two tours was immediately refunded to my credit card. We arrived a little early for the tour, only to find out that they have you arrive intentionally early--so we had over 45 minutes to pass from the time we got to the Ferry Terminal until we actually boarded the ferry from Saulsalito. We spent it fairly easily looking around the terminal and snapping photos. The guide was very informative, although he didn't give much of any personal perspective, it was a very "canned" tour from start to finish--not saying that's a bad thing though. I guess if there was one complaint it was that some of the stops were too short, and a few were too long. We'd rather spend less time at the Cathedral and more time at the Golden Gate Bridge. We were also under the impression that we'd be able to walk down Lombard Street, which was not the case. Generally speaking it was a good tour that gave a good overlook of the City and allowed us to get an idea of what we'd like to go back to and explore at a later time on our own. We'd definitely reccomend this tour for a first time visitor that wanted a quick glimpse of it all before going back to spend more time at the points that really interested them. One thing to note, the tour does require a considerable amount of walking--some uphill, up stairs, and over uneven terrain. We would not suggest this tour for mobility impaired or unhealthy people. It's also not the best for families with younger kids who will get bored and become a distraction to others.
Pros: You see a lot in a comfortable setting
Cons: Not enough time in some spots, too much in others

I did the comprehensive San Francisco tour and the Muir woods tour combo. The tour gives you a very good quick visit to all the major sites in San Fran. I started my trip with this tour so I could figure out where I wanted to spend more time for the rest of the trip. Loved that I didn't have to figure out how to get around on the streets or park! Would recommend this tour to other visitors who would like a one day tour to see most of the main sites. The Muir woods tour was also quick, wish I had more time in the park. But the views were absolutely worth it. Again, loved not having to drive the curving, steep roads with cliffs on one side. If I had to do it again, I would take these tours, but do it on separate days.

I can't think of a better time touring a city than what we had here with San Francisco Shuttle Tours. I noticed they use a different Tour Guide from Driver. We also had a different Tour Guide on the bay cruise. We made lots of tour stops and got lots of variety with this San Francisco Tour. They also have a Wine Country Tour called Wine Country Tour Shuttle and a Muir Woods Tour that I did not go on but they looked really good. I recommend this companies tours - big time!
Pros: Many Tour Stops, Lots of Variety, Free Drinks
Cons: None I can think of.

Had the best time on this tour. I really recommend it. The tour guides are great and the stops they make were even better. From Grace Cathedral to the Cable Car Barn Museum - this tour has it all! LOVED IT!
Pros: Thumbs up!! Tour Guide and stops were great
Cons: Maybe instead of free cokes and water - how about
