HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!! This bus ruined my entire night. I was looking forward to prom for months before the event. I worked at a min. paying job to pay for all these expenses for about 3 months. It started out great, we took pictures then we went to a restaurant then we waited for the bus. we call the company and they said they would be 45 min late. NOPE they def were not. The actual bus didnt even show up!! another random bus showed up an hour and a half late, disrespecting our dates! This bus was horrible and ugly. It had ducktape inside the walls holding things together. it was literally a school bus painted black. By the time we got to prom we only had a half hour left. The pcitures were already closed so we didnt even get to take pictures with our dates. I spent 130 dollars on a tux rental so i can take a picture with my date. Then we were expecting to at least get a few hours back after the prom because we ordered 8 hours. NOPE, the bus dropped us off somewhere in our city, not even where we parked our cars, and just left. WE SPENT 3,500 for a 1 hour ride in a horrible school bus. DONT USE THIS BUS COMPANY unless you want your special night to be ruined. It ruined my entire prom, my entire night. just an update.... We asked for a refund they refused..... so if you want to be totally ripped off go ahead and use the company. id you want a fun night dont.
Pros: THERE ARE NO PROS THEY LEFT US STRANDED!!
Cons: THEY REFUSE TO REFUND US SO WE ARE TAKING THEM TO COURT

I have to say the service from the beginning of the booking process was an ease. Raj was really helpful over the phone, although at times, it was kind of tough getting a hold of him. He answered all my questions and recommended some great places to party. Most of my friends are 25+ so we didn't want to hang out at in the Tenderloin area of SF @ Suite 181 (yuck!). After careful consideration, Raj set us up with 2 bars that definitely fit our needs (Fluid and Gravity). We had a great time at both places. Our host was Mike and he was animated, extremely helpful, and he even helped us make and serve drinks (sorry Mike, i thought my boyfriend tipped you. We'll get you next time!) When we got back on the bus, the pizzas were hot and ready for us to devour! Unfortunately, somebody threw up on the floor so we there was a clean up fee :( That's the one thing I would definitely be cautious about because that clean up fee is super expensive! Bring extra bags! All in all, we had a great time and i would definitely recommend using Think Escape.

I've been on quite a few party buses and party trolleys in the past 6 years (both good and bad), and my recent experience with Think Escape has definitely been 5 stars On the night of 11/10, we had a group of over 32+ partiers heading out to Suite 181. Our hostess was Rachel and along with providing us with the large tour bus (complete with bathroom, an ice chest filled with ice, and bonus drink mixers), she did a fantastic job of coordinating and cheerfully explaining out the general bus and clubbing guidelines A word of advice, it's important to stress that ALL the members of your party group get to the scheduled bus meeting location ON TIME, otherwise you WILL have problems getting into some of the more popular clubs if you all arrive too close to the guest list cut-off period for that club Fortunately it was an easy traffic night, so we arrived at 181 with an extra 15 minutes to spare, which was where Rachel's experienced professionalism and excellent time management came into play cause not only did she find a place for the bus driver to pull aside and let us utilize the extra time to finish up our drinks, but all of us also got into 181 via the VIP line quickly with no hassles I'd definitely recommend (if it's a fri/sat evening) to just stick with 1 club or hitting up 2 at most cause otherwise you end up wasting time trying to get people back onto the bus in the middle of the evening. The end of the night, after she had accounted for all partiers, was topped off with a couple of hot and fresh pizzas (with paper plates too!) that Rachel already had waiting for us on the bus. A deliciously fitting end to an overall well-executed outing by Think Escape. We paid $40/each. Given that i've seen close-by parking lots as high as $30 around 181/Crash (plus who really wants to be walking too much around the Tenderloin at night), i'd definitely use Think Escape's service again!

Is it me or are party buses the new "in thing"? My friend invited me to go on a party bus this past weekend and it sounded like a really bad idea. First off, it was pouring rain and it was cold! Second, I didn't feel like driving to South SF to meet up with the bus. Third, I didn't know 90% of the people on the bus. But after thinking about it, i said WTF, i'll take a chance and see this party bus was all about. So, we get on the bus and it looked fabulous! All of the other buses I've been on have forward facing seats that kind of look like a Greyhound bus. Not this one! This bus had limousine style seating where everybody were facing each other and it had maybe 2 or 3 wet bar areas. The bus was stocked with champagne and we all filled up our glasses and did a champagne toast for the bday girl. On top of that, the host was able to manipulate the colors of the floor so it felt like a club inside! Our host, Mike, was a cute, tall, blond boy! Already, things were looking good. He was really animated and had a great smile. I think he must of been like 22 years old. He got up in front of the bus and explained the rules. He even threw in some smart comments about the bday girl and made us all laugh. We got to the first club, i think it was called the Element. As we proceeded in, we were greeted with a free shot on the house. AWESOME! The place was kind of small, but it had a cool, intimate vibe to it. We danced for about 45 minutes and then headed to Club NV. If I would have known that we were going to Club NV, i would have said no from the beginning, but what the HEY!, I went in with a good attitude and believe it or not, I had a great time. My friend and I downed another shot of Tequila at NV and danced the rest of the night away. When we got on the bus, there was pizza waiting for us. I had a slice of cheese and I was done for the night. thanks mike for making this a memorable night and for looking so HOT!

I wouldn't normally party on a bus or go dancing at Suite 181, but this was for my cousin's 25th Birthday and with the right crowd, this is a super deal. For about 40 bucks per person you get a ride out to the club (apparently they'll pick you up from anywhere in the Bay), drinks, entrance to the club (VIP access) and a ride back home with pizza! You can easily spend more than $40 when you want to paint the town red and you usually have to drive yourself or select a designated driver who's disappointed that they can't join in on the alcoholic fun. So, for this, I give it four stars. There was a little communication problem between our group and the bus coordinator, but that was solved quickly and our party had a great time. Invite the right people, bring your own music and you'll have a rockin' party bus.

I've been hearing so many things about party buses and last weekend was my first experience. My friend Jenny rented Think Escape's "Fantasy Escape Limo Bus" and it was the baddest thing I've ever seen. All the floors lit up and changed colors and the sound was amazing. The wet bars were stocked with ice, soda, water, and champagne. First club: we went to Sweet 181 and that place was packed and the club itself was nice. Second club: Club 443 - this place is located next to a bunch of bars, restaurants, and strip clubs! It was a nice club and had an intimate feel. Overall, the service was excellent and the pizza was great!
Pros: good service, freakin nice bus

If I could give this company negative stars I would. The driver was 3 hours late causing us to have to skip the first 2 stops on the agenda for the night. The driver did not leave San Mateo until he was already over an hour late, & the pick up was in Hayward. He was unprepared & did not have directions to the pick up & my friend's dad had to leave his home at 11pm in order to meet the driver to show him how to get the the house since he didn't speak English &couldn't understand the directions. I mean seriously WTF?! If your job is to drive, in the very least you should have the directions ahead of time. We didn't get to the club (not 2-3 as promised) until 12:30.Then the driver claimed it was ILLEGAL for him to drop us off in front of the club-or even on the same street. If i wanted to walk 2.5 blocks through the TL to get to the club & back to the bus I would have driven myself. In all my years of living in San Francisco I've never heard of it being illegal for a vehicle to offload or pick up it's passengers in front of a club. We get everyone back on the bus &due to the drinks flowing &some very upset girls who felt like they didn't get what they paid for-fighting broke out & the night ended with the bride to be in hysterics crying the whole way home. Talk about ruining what should have been a special evening. Unless your idea of a good time is spending the whole drive home trying to calm down &comfort your friend who should have had a fun & memorable night-I would stay FAR FAR AWAY from this company. But at the end of the day even getting my money back won't change the fact that my friend will always remember her bachelorette party being a complete disaster that ended in fighting & hysterics. You don't get a do-over on that night &it's really unfortunate that this unorganized &unprofessional company will be able to continue to operate their fly by night crappy service.
Pros: none
Cons: late, scary driving, unprepared, unprofessional service

I planned my birthday party three weeks in advance and was a bit skeptical because I had never done anything like this. It was the best birthday ever!!!! The bus arrived at my house exactly at 9:30 with the host. We went to Suite 181 and NV and both clubs were great! The pizza at the end of the night was awesome. I highly recommend this company for any special event. My guests and I had a blast and Friday Sept 14th will always be remembered!!!
Pros: great customer service
Cons: nothing!

I recently made reservations with this company and I wasn't too thrilled with their service or their ability to help throw a party. Although they were helpful and have friendly customer service I would not rate it #1 at all. I think they did not live up to their slogan "first class entertainment in San Francisco’s premier nightlife destination. From the second we pick you up, you’re VIP all the way" Well...i sure didn't feel like VIP. First, the bus, which was a below average greyhound bus, arrived 45 minutes late. Then the "cooler" or shall I say lunch pal which stored the soda, juice, & ice, was then leaking all over the seat. Then at the end of night the hostess was 30 min late in getting our pizza which left us in front of the club waiting for no reason. I think the company did a subpar job in providing customer service and the necessary facilities.

First, the bus was 30+ minutes late picking us up. The bus was sort of disappointing, although it was just your average Greyhoundlike bus. We drove around the city at first to waste time, then stopped by the first bar, which was according to our friend who scheduled the party, wasn't the bar she picked out. The bar had yet to open so we had to wait in the bus for a while. Then when we got in, there was no free round of shots, as was stated as part of the deal. We then were informed that the second bar we were scheduled to go to was closed. So they took up to another bar. When we arrived there, we were asked to pay a cover charge, which again wasn't part of the agreement. We waited outside of the club for 30 minutes while our incompetent hostess dealt with the club people. Once we finally got in (with no cover), the bar was packed, there were no free shots again, and we only had about 40 minutes in the bar before we had to leave. Next we drove to the worst part of town and waited further in the bus while the hostess sat in the pizza place waiting for the pizza. On the plus side, the pizza was really good. This was kind of leaning towards a scam. I would not recommend this company for any sort of party ever! Don't even bother.
Pros: Good Pizza
Cons: Late, rude, clueless, bad clubs, lots of waiting
