beautiful

very nice spa, but over priced in my opinion. The facility is great so if you're looking for a place you can lounge around all day you should come here. But for results of the treatments that you get on a normal basis, I would go elsewhere.
- Pros: pool, hot tub, sauna atmosphere
- Cons: treatments are so so - price is high
great facility

I got treated to a massage at Remede as a surprise and it was a wonderful experience. The facility is great with a pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room you can enjoy before or after your treatments. I had a massage which was nice, but not anything too special. I really love the amenities but don't think the treatments are the best. If you're looking for a spa where you can hang out throught the day with friends for a special occassion, but if you're looking for spectacular treatments I'd go elsewhere. Overall I do like this spa and am sure I will return.
- Pros: facilities
- Cons: price
Not worth all the hype

I was so excited to get a facial at Remede since I heard that the spa was really nice and I love visiting the St. Regis. The waiting area is super luxurious and full of wonderful goodies, but that is the only part that I loved about my whole experience. Instead of choosing what kind of service you want, they only have one option which is that they "customize" according to what your needs are. The room was starck and cold, it totally felt like I was going to the dentist or doctor's office. My esthetician was nice, but her solution was microdermabrasion when I wanted relaxation and massage. I felt rushed and left feeling really disappointed. My skin also looked the same the day after. For the amount of money that I paid, it was NOT worth it. There are other spas out there that are much better.
- Pros: luxurious waiting area
- Cons: expensive, lack of ambiance in the rooms, mediocre facial
they make you feel like a star

I stayed at the St. Regis for business for a week, and was in need of my weekly massage, and thought I might try a facial for the first time at the recommendation of my sister in law (I'm male). In any case, the service from the staff was top notch, and they are very proffesional. The facilities are world class, and if I may make a plug for the hotel itself, the rooms are off the hook (amazing). Anyway, the massage was great, and a week later my facial skin is glowing. Only other comment I should make is that the place is on the pricey side, but if you have the cash its worth it. By the way, I really dug the champagne and fruit in the waiting lounge.
- Pros: service, champagne, facilities
- Cons: price
Luxury

I love that you are customizing your service to meet your needs. The facial is ultimately relaxing...uses paraffin and oxygen for extraction prep...no steam (no bacteria please). Friendly informative staff with a nice calm removed from the hussle and bussle of the City feel.
- Pros: amenities, customized treatments, champagne
- Cons: a bit expensive, pedicure throne
not yet ready for prime time
by lindahwa
8 of us came here last week.
Pros: 20% discount, a friend came in late and the front desk allowed her to reschedule, hot stone massage is great, remede massage is good.
Cons: mix-up in scheduling - requesting couple massages, getting separate room instead; the great bath was dissapointing (30 fixed mins bath and the water got too cold); no amenities until next year; the layout of the spa is too cold - they boasted 9000 sq feet space, however, the lounge and the locker are in different floor, lounge is too small; expensive
group conclusion: one of my g.f thinks that it has potentials and might check back later next year. The rest of us will go back to our fave spa in the city or try others that we haven't been to. It will be a long while for me to go back to this one.
- Pros: good massage, friendly staff, good champagne
- Cons: scheduling mixed-up, amenities and layout, overpriced
Posh urban retreat tucked away in the St. Regis Hotel.
