Great food, service, and value. The service was very friendly. Went during the week so parking wasn't too bad.

The rice was dry, but they served sauce when asked for for free too!! and then it was really tasty. Very good service, very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Pricing very decent -- reasonable to cheap.
- Pros: Everything is perfect!!
- Cons: Rice was dry but perfect if you ask for sauce along with it.
Great table with fantastic food

My wife and I completely enjoyed the meal at Benjarong Thai Cuisine. The staff was polite and the decoration was nice. The food was very good and plentiful. Nice and spicy for my fiery tastes.
Over spiced, over cooked, cheap cut of chicken, mushy noddles, dry rice. Waitresses had great legs!

Price was the only thing going for it. The BBQ grilled chicken was terrible. How can you make a chicken thigh dry? it had the bone still in. The thai noddles were soggy mush. Way over spiced and I like spicy food. It just plain didn't taste good. I have no idea why this place is rated so high.
- Pros: cheap
- Cons: indediable. We left and ate somewhere else.

Thai restaurant in the Marina District offers a menu of traditional specialties including pad thai and several curries.
Wonderful Thai Food w/ a lovely ambiance right on Lombard St!

I have been going to Benjarong since its opening, and each time I've received impeccable service with great tasting food. The restaurant has a wonderful, warm atmosphere and is always extremely clean. I've brought a slew of friends and family from a variety of places (from WA to NY to MI) and each person has loved the experience.
- Pros: Consistently Great Food and Service

Benjarong is by far one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the city. It is clean, nicely decorated, the staff is incredibly kind and the food is excellent. This is a great place to start your night before heading out on a Friday or Saturday night in the Cow Hollow/Marina area or if you want a relaxing weekday evening with a date or with friends. I have recomended this place to all to all of my friends. You better get there before this place gets discovered!
excellent, flavorful thai; one of SF's best
by davi105 at Citysearch
We felt very lucky to discover this place right around the corner. It's not in the most well trafficked location, so hard to know about it except by word of mouth. But this is probably the best Thai we've had in the city. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming, working long hours to get the new place off the ground. We know because we've been going there about once a week for the last few months. (Addicted to their indian flat bread and pad thai). You can't go wrong with pretty much any dish. The food is reasonably priced, rich in flavor and texture. It's not overly fancy but very cleanly and tastefully decorated--great place for a date if you want to impress them with your taste in food rather than your wallet. This is the first citysearch review we've bothered to post--way too good to keep to ourselves.
