A great friend and I were in the San Francisco area this past weekend and i wanted to surprise her with a massage. I know you always get what you pay for but $140-$180 per person, which is what i was finding in the main part of the city, was a little pricey for me. I did research and found Zensasian so i called to see what they offered. The great experience started with the friendly voice that answered the phone. She informed me of the deals they were having and told me with the couples massage that they would be able to serve us champagne afterwards. I was sold and WOW!!! did the reasearch pay off. The establishment itself is quaint and cozy with only a few massage rooms but the decor is great and the atmosphere is very soothing. I have received many massages but this one was by far one of the top 3 i have ever had. Corrine has the hands of an angel and she worked in every second of what we paid for. From head to toe, she worked on problem areas i specified as well as relieved a headache that i had come in with. My friend LOVED her experience as well with John and said she would definitely go back. Afterwards they brought us champagne and let us relax until we were ready to leave. Both extremely friendly, very social and overall provided an exceptional experience. If you don't mind driving a bit away from the city and don't need it to be a posh and stuffy spa then i would highly reccomend Zensasian to anyone who wants an amazing massage with an even better guest experience.

Cons: Parking is a little hard to find but nothing that a quick drive around the block won't fix

I am a reknowned professional bodyworker/shaman/healer so when i tell you that Corrine Zhong has an adept pair of magical hands- i speak from vast experience of thousands of different touch experiences. First off, the hands of this adorable little woman have the strength of an olympic athelete and can work as deep as is necessary. Not only is her presence and touch innately soothing, her massage work is extremely focused and intentional. She works deep without hurting , works an area until the tension is resolved. In other words, she is not simply doing x number of pleasing strokes in an area and then moving on as with most Swedish massage, she can actually really sense what is happening in your body and adapts to your needs. There are many in the business that simply have technical skills and knowledge but no real gift of touch or gift of healing. Corrine has both. I know a real healer when i feel one. Bless you! If you've never had a bikini and fanny facial, I highly recommend you try it! It's wierd at first having "facial" in your pubic area (just the top part) where there's ingrown hairs and breakouts and on your butt area, but you'd be surprised how smooth your skin will be after and how the massage on the butt released so much tension from sitting all day at work. Don't worry, I have been getting these treatments at zensAsian for a few months now and it has always been professional and comfortable. I once got a bikini facial somewhere in Pacific Heights before I found zensAsian and it's no comparison in ambience and comfort level. zensAsian provides the right environment for a soothing and relaxing experience with their warm candle-lit room, soothing music and warm eye pillow. Bikini and fanny facials both come with steam, cleansing, exfoliation, extractions if needed, massage(only for behind), mask and moisturizer just like a regular facial but only takes 30 mins. I think it's perfect to get a back facial and butt facial together. A Must Try!

I found this listing under the top 10 spas in SF. I was in desperate need of a massage. I decided to make an appt. coz it was in walking distance from my house. Knowing the wonders they can do for me, I would travel 50 miles to get here. This place is 2nd to HEAVEN. The staff are professional, kind, simply pleasant. The ambiance is perfect for alleviating stress. I can't give enough kudos to ZensAsian to do them justice. If you're like me, you wouldn't take just anyone's word. FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF.

Tis place is a great find! The staff is very accomodating and friendly. Gives a very warm and homey feeling having my facial and massage done here. The facial is highly recommended. There is no hard sell or any pressure being a customer here. The esthetician is simply straightforward and honest; telling me what I need for my face. And best of all, the products used for facial are customized to my skin type. The massage is soothing and effective. In short, my experience was lovely. I will surely come back again. Great job zensasian!

I was looking for a place for my gf and I and we discovered zensAsian online. We walked through the door and were greeted by friendly staff. We noticed how nice and relaxing the environment was. The room was so tranquil and romantic with candles everywhere, in the hallway, on the walls, everywhere! The music was soothing and the massage was amazing, really lifted my spirit and brought me to a different place. At the end of the massage, they brought in champagne and chocolate covered strawberries where we had still laying down. I looked at my girl and I knew she loved the surprise I had given her. Guys I highly recommend this place for a romantic pampering experience for your girl anytime!

Super friendly, this dayspa rocks! I have been to other dayspas in the city and I am so amazed how easy going and accomodating this place is! The ambience is like no other dayspa except Suchada who cannot be beat. It's small, cozy, peaceful and uniquely asia island feel. The staff very professional, warm and friendly. As for services, I've tried their massages, facials and waxing and I am impressed, very well done. Now the most interesting part, the price is very reasonable but can be flexible too like if it's your first time there they can give you a discount whereas other places you need a coupon or something and if it's your birthday or special occasion they give you a free gift! Nobody gives their stuff away as easily as zensAsian! I've gotten candles, lip balm, skin kit, bath salt, you name it and they are not samples but retail products! My gosh! Just for being so nice, I'm loyal for life! Oh and on Valentine's day, they offered free wine and champagne and chocolate covered strawberries after our very relaxing couple's massage in the most romantic candle-lit room I've ever seen in a dayspa! No wonder they were voted best dayspa for couples here! I agree! So enough of me talking, go check them out for yourselves and you won't regret it! I highly recommend them, all their therapists are very good, no matter who you get.

I had a fantastic--affordable and very relaxing--facial here, but my friend had a super-weird massage experience w/ the guy masseuse (I think the same one described as a bit of a pervert above!). He was all about getting her to "relax" and "let it out" because she was so "tight" (a word he used just a *bit* too much, apparently!). And then he started going kinda in the inner thigh area, and further in, and further in, till finally she had to say "dude, not cool." !!! And then he totally stopped, and the rest was fine. She's not a prude, either, but this felt not quite kosher to her, so while I'd definitely go back for a facial, I'd make sure to ask for the female massage therapist, unless you want some *other* kind of relaxation!

Pros: Fabulous facial!

I saw on their website about their weekday special and decided to try their facial and massage. I must say I am impressed! Their facial is exactly what I got at a high end spa in San Francisco at a fraction of the price! ($50 compared to $120!) I later found out that the esthetician actually trained and worked at that spa before. I also tried their massage and got the best relaxing massage ever! No need to go to big spa when I can get the same treatment here. I am so happy I found this place. I highly recommend it if you want to relax and have a spa experience for less money.

I first learned about ZensAsians via my wife who goes in for facials and massage. I recieved a gift certificate for my birthday and really enjoyed the experience. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable and the massage is one of the best I''ve had in a long time. Highly recommended.
