This is my pizza go to!. I miss it if I haven't been in more than a few weeks. The staff is great, the food is solid. Just all around a perfect night... but if you are looking for uppity and so forth... go elsewhere. This is a relaxed and fun place and the food matches that exact sentiment.…
Excellent food and fun vibe. This is for the California St. location. Pizzeria Delfina has made me a pizza snob - I can't go anywhere else. They don't take reservations and it's a popular place, so go before 6:30 if you don't want to wait. It's a small restaurant so hard for groups, but perfect for 2 or 4. Everything on the menu is good, but the meatballs are amazing. The only con I have (I really don't mind waiting for good food) is that they play loud music on top of an already-loud restaurant. OK, that might sound like a grandmother comment, but I do enjoy conversation while I eat. But don't let that scare you away, the pizza and vibe are worth the visit!…
The BEST pizza I've ever eaten.. I've eaten a lot of pizza at many different pizza joints in several states. Ocassionally, I will come across a very good pizza, but most are average. Pizzeria Delfina is exceptional. I had heard about this place getting high reviews from pizza connoiseurs, so I thought to give it a try. Hands down, this is the best pizza(margherita) I've ever had. My wife ordered a calzone which was very good. We now make the 30 mile drive from Fremont once a month so we can enjoy this great pizza.…
Best Pizza. I'm so happy now that they have a new location on california st, parking is much easier that the mission location. the pizza is always fresh, and delicious. The sausage pizza is amazing. And the staff is always friendly.…
Great pizza and local feel. The pizza, olive oil, pasta and apps are really great. The pizzeria is more casual then the restaurant and affordable. Try it!
Best Pizza in San Francisco. I'd say Delfina is my favorite pizza in San Francisco after trying all the usual suspects (Tomaso's, Little Star, etc.). It reminds me a lot of great New York pizza like Grimaldi's and Patsy's. I only go there late at night though as the wait is simply unbearable if you arrive anytime before 9:30pm. I do hear that the larger Fillmore location is also packed, albeit less so than the classic Mission space.…
BEST PIZZA. I love the sauage pizza at this joint, and the tri-color salade goes so well with it. The staff is warm and friendly. I don't even mind th long wait.
plenty of pizza restaurants in the city-why eat here?. I didn't see anything here that even looked tempting and it was very expensive for pizza.tight cramped tables and un -attentive service.
Great pizza, awkward service. This has to be some of the best pizza I have had since Italy. The crust is so thin and light.....Perfection. I love the warm olive appitizer and the hearts of romaine salad. Its really fun to sit at a sidewalk table and take in such a great part of the city while enjoying wine and good food. The only thing about this place that gets me is the service. It has been somewhat awkward each time I have dinned there. No bad, but a little cold and off. All 3 servers that I had there were cold and standoffish, kind of a bummer, but I would still go back!…
A great addition to the city's pizza selection. Pizza here is truly Italian style thin, juet l;ike in Sicily, topped with fresh ingredients, and tasty. I was really happy to find pizza like this in San Francisco. Service was ok and prompt. Decent wine list also!…
