This studio was already great 2 years ago when I started working out with the awesome Georgia. Now, not only has my body changed in amazing ways, but the whole experience just keeps getting better. There are so many incredibly knowledgeable and caring trainers to work with, like Gabby, Karen, Carol and Jamie, to name a few. The equipment is great too, and there's plenty of it. Georgia has turned me on to Gyrotonic and brought a bum shoulder back to life. Can't say enough good stuff about Third Street Pilates. I was new to Pilates & Gyro when I walked in & now I can't praise them enough, thanks to this great studio.
Pros: Location, trainers, class size and variety, hula hoops(!)
Cons: No mat class on Fridays

I have been doing pilates for 3 years and moved to the Bay Area a few months ago from the East Coast. My first order of business was to find a studio that could give me the same power that I was used to receiving and work with my body. I fell in love with Third Street Pilates because the owner Georgia was energetic and friendly, her equipment and stuido was up to date, and best of all she introduced me to Jamie, my trainer, who rocks! This is the first time my boyfriend has noticed that I have biceps and a firm booty from my workouts! I would highly recommend Third Street Pilates based on their "personalized" trainers who definitely work with you and give you exactly what you want, their equipment is cutting edge( padded and comfortable), and everyone is down right friendly.
Pros: Parking, Muliple Trainers, Easy Scheduling

i live in los angeles and whenever i was in san francisco, i'd go see georgia and her staff - it was my home away from home. most importantly, they readied my body for my summer trip to india!

Working with the patient and very welcoming trainers in this light-filled studio has been nothing short of a revelation. The Pilates instruction is giving me strength, tone and body confidence in my 40s that I never had in my 20s. And my first two Gyrontonic sessions with the amazing Georgia Kalnin brought full range of motion back into an injured shoulder. The pain is gone, period. If you're looking for encouraging people to help you realize what your body is capable of, this is the place.

Pilates is amazing and Third Street Pilates is the place to go! The studio is beautiful, Georgia and her staff are knowledgable, warm, non-judgemental, and they will get you to do things that you never thought you could do. Along with building strenth and fexibility this workout helps with all of my aches and pains including miracle stretches for shoulder problems from working on the computer. Believe it or not exercise can be fun........see for yourself!
Pros: Staff, Studio, Workout with dessert
Cons: I don't know of any

3rd Street Pilates & Georgia Kalnin! The studio is beautiful and inviting, reminds me of a hip N.Y. style studio. Not only is the studio amazing Georgia and her staff will make you feel like a million bucks. I have always excercised, however never have enjoyed Yoga or stretching for that matter, this is where Georgia and Pilates has changed my life. I have been working out with Georgia for nearly 2 years now and feel that Pilates has been a great, low impact way to stay in shape and increase body tone. I have tried two other studios in the city prior to finding 3rd St. Pilates and feel confident in saying Georgia Kalnins 3rd St. Pilates is the best!
Pros: knowledgable staff, beautiful setting, parking

I highly recommend this Pilates studio for newcomers or those that have been doing Pilates for years. It's a beautiful studio located in a great, upcoming, urban area, and the private instruction is wonderful. The instructors are all friendly and helpful and will work hard to make sure you're learning and improving all the time!

I had tried pilates from a few studios before, and Georgia Kalnin's Third Street Pilates is absolutely the best. It just feels good to be there, and the staff is warm and thoughtful and really knows their stuff. I have seen changes in my body and feel stronger after just a few sessions. They have gyrotonic which is amazing and not many studios have that offering. I highly highly recommend it - great for newcomers as well as experienced students!
Pros: wonderful atmosphere, great staff, results oriented
