Amazing.

We were seated promptly, even though it was very busy. My husband and I split the hot salmon club, and we each got a petite clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl. Even though the service was a little slow (1/2 hour from when we were served the chowder until our sandwich appeared), the food was more than worth it.
Great Service - Great Food and Drink

My wife and I enjoyed a late lunch at Bistro Boudin. We were promptly greeted and seated at a table with a great view. The corn chowder and ceasar salad were fresh and flavorful. The bread is out of this world. Our server was polite and efficient. The mojitos were made with plenty of fresh mint and really took the edge off of a busy day. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Bistro Boudin is one of our favorite places in our favorite city.
- Pros: View, Good Food, Outstanding Bread
Surprisingly great food and exceptional servers

I was given a gift certificate to dine at Bistro Boudin and tried it out this evening with four friends. While all of us dine in SF regularly, we don't usually visit the Wharf. This will certainly change. The ambiance in the building is wonderful (floating baskets filled with bread, great views and lots of dark wood). The view of Alcatraz is not one that we see often and it was quite remarkable. We had the best crab cakes ever, thin crispy gourmet sourdough pizzas and tender, melt in your mouth filet mignon. My girlfriend loved the pistachio crusted halibut. 2 out of 4 desserts were great...we'll definitely make a trip to the wharf again to visit the Bistro. Service was outstanding and very personable.
Truly Stunning Private Dining Room
by cctimbers at Citysearch
My husband and I hosted a birthday celebration in Bistro Boudin's private dining room. The room is beautifully decorated and offers great views of the bay. Our servers were the most gracious and attentive of all the SF restaurants we visited during our one month stay. On top of all that, the food was much better than we expected (since their location is a touristy area of the city). The Filet Mignon and Crab cake combo is a "must order" dish!
- Pros: Stunning waterfront view, service, cuisine
- Cons: none
Better @ Boudin

Serivce was more than PERFECT! Robert, Maitre'D, welcomed us with a warm smile and courteous elan while Garsha, Restaurant Mgr., glided swiftly on the restaurant & banquet floor like Fred Astaire. Table Service was flawless - they always anticipated your needs. Cooking technique and presentation was simply impeccable!!! You'll just die over the Braised Short Ribs - peel off the bone, tender to the fork. Desserts?? My Sweet Toother just got Sweeter. Every single dish was "As Artful As It Was Delicious!". Hands down, 5-Stars in my books !!!
- Pros: Staff's Hospitality, Food & Presentation, View
- Cons: None
Hidden Jem for Private Dining

I had never thought to host a company business dinner down at touristy Fisherman's Wharf, but Bistro Boudin came highly recommended by a friend. Their room is elegant and intimate & the food was sublime but the personal touches by our service staff really stole the show. This venue is a great addition to a much forgotten part of our city.
- Pros: great view, short ribs, sourdough pizzas
- Cons: parking

Local finds a gem a the wharf

I came down to the Wharf with my family and thought I would see the same old wharf but was surprised at the new Boudin. We ended up at the Bisto upstairs and had a fantastic meal. I had the Steak Frites which was out of this world and my wife had the chopped salad. After dinner, the waiter offered us a tour of the meuseum and we really enjoyed it. The kids loved the bread pudding for dessert. Overall a great experience at Bistro Boudin.

I've lived in the bay area for six years, and am a huge fan of the Boudin sourdough bread, so when I heard of their new flagship location in Fisherman's Wharf I new I had to try it out. We began our meal with a mission style shrimp cocktail that was superb. The short ribs were melt in your mouth and the halibut was cooked perfectly! The ambiance and attentive wait staff was everything I could ever ask for. Five stars!!!!
- Pros: Great Service, Beautiful View
