I am sooo happy with the waxing service that I received at Milvali last Saturday. I have been getting brazilians at another salon/spa for a few years, and didn't know I was getting a "bad Job". I guess you never know a bad job, until you've had a good job. Thank God my usual girl called in sick, otherwise I would still be getting hurt by that other girl. Well after the amazing waxing, I thought I might as well get my hair cut too. And my hair looks the best it ever has. My advice to all. Try somebody new. This was the best waxing and hair cut I have ever had. And the prices can't be beat. I can actually afford to go back regulary.

Let's talk about the quickest Brazilian, barely any pain...and I'm a wimp. They are absolute pros, and you leave smooth as a baby's butt. Plus eye brow waxes that leave you camera ready, seriously. Plus, they are open to suggest. Not like you really need to give any since they are so good. This may sound like a fake review, but that's how great they are!

After recently moving up from LA I was desperate to find someone to give me the LA sunkissed highlights I was used to getting from my dear friend Christos at his salon on Beverly Blvd.. A friend of mine mentioned her girlfriend's twin sister worked in a salon in Mill Valley called Milvali and I should give her a try. Now mind you I have long, thick blonde hair and am usually a hairdresser's nightmare... The service I received at Milvali was above and beyond my wildest expectations. I loved the color, the cut, the new cosmetics I purchased to go with my new look.... and the wonderful atmosphere the girls created. Thank you Jess, Rhianna and Fiona for a wonderful afternoon....

After reading the many rave reviews about Milvali Salon (especially about Fiona) I was quite enthusiastic and excited about getting my hair highlighted and cut there. Although the ladies were friendly and the atmosphere was light and fun, the color I received wasn't the least bit impressive, and the cut was below average. I spent $200 and no one even noticed my hair had been "done". When I mentioned to a few people that I had gotten my hair done, they looked incredulous. The few I pressed further admitted they thought it looked much better before I went to Milvali. Now, I want to be sure we are clear. The girls were lovely. It is a fun place to be. However, the cut and color services I received were far from being worth the money. I could have gotten better results at Supercuts.

Cons: overpriced, bad color and cut

I was going out and a girlfriend told me to get my makeup done at Milvali. Kerry did it and did just what I wanted! I'm going back!

My first trip to the San Francisco store - I go to the Bay Area several times a year and was thrilled that Milvali had opened in San Franciso - I still go to Mill Valley for facials and brow wax and tint. All of the Milvali products are gentle enough to use on my sensitive skin. I would recommend Milvali to anyone looking for high quality services and products.

I've been going to Milvali for a couple of years to get my hair done, ( Fiona does a fabulous job ), but I discovered the best thing yet. They are amazing waxers!! Or specifically... Jessica does the best brazilian I have ever had, and I have been doing it for years. My usual gal, somewhere else, went on vacation, so I tried Jessica. I can't tell you the difference. Absolutely Outstanding. It was quick, and I can't say enough about Jessica. Professional, talented, and nice. Now how convenient to get everything done in one place. I also had my brows done, they are perfect. And my lash tint was great too. Try them, they are the best!!!

I went into MilVali Salon & Cosmetics for the first time for a new, fun haircut...I got exactly what I wanted from Alicia. I was unsure of the cut at first b/c it was pretty different than what I'm used to ( always had long, plain haircuts), but after I washed and styled it the next day, I really liked it. I sat with Alicia for several minutes beforehand to discuss what I wanted and showed her some pictures and she combined my ideas with the visuals and put together a super fun, edgy haircut for me that's the easiest style I've ever managed. She was very easy to talk to, really took the time to listen to me, didn't pressure me at all, and made sure everything she was doing was okay with me. I also went in the morning and was early for my appt, which afforded me even more time to have a good, clear discussion of what I wanted. I will definitely go back.

This is my favorite salon by far and I have never received such excellent service from any salon until Milvali. I've had my hair highlighted by Fiona and recently had my haircut done by Paige. Both experiences have been wonderful! The minute you step in you feel so welcomed by the friendly staff. Fiona was so pleasant and truly listened to what I wanted for my hair. Paige was outstanding in cutting my hair. The best haircut I've had in years! With my beautiful highlights and new haircut I've never felt better...and I guess it truly shows because I keep getting compliments wherever I go! Just wanted to say "wow" and "thank you!" If you want beautiful hair, Milvali is worth your time and every cent! :)

I am so happy I found this place. Looks like a hair salon, is a hair salon... but the best brazilian I have ever had. I have gone many many places. Luckily, the place I normally go had to cancel on me. I found Milvali online, and now I will never go anywhere else. Jessica did my waxing. What a professional. So nice, and did the best job. I didn't know that it didn't have to hurt so much. Every hair is gone, I am not sore, and I am just so pleased. It always hurt me, but when Jessica did me, the pain was about half. I will never be afraid again. -Angel
