You have to try some of the drinks on their menu. The Citrus Love and Blueberry Fizz are both delicious and fruity, without being too sweet. The fresh juices make all the difference here. I tried the rib appetizer and it left me wanting more, because it was so tender and falling off the bone. Next time I am getting the full dinner ribs. It is off the beaten path, on the fringe of most of the Soma bars but it is definitely worth coming to.

What does it say about a "bar" that it was the food that made your trip there memorable? Maybe it was the particular evening we dropped by after work.....very quiet..you could've thrown a bowling ball down the center of the place and wouldn't have touched a soul. The Jazz music was a bit on the loud side....dunno, wasn't overly impressed with this place.
Pros: at least we got our drink right away.
Cons: Does anyone know about this place yet? It was pretty vacant...even on a Friday night...

I went to Catalyst for a work function. The apps we had were awesome! Especially for a bar. Bacon wrapped shrimp, ribs, calamari. I was really impressed. The drinks were great as well! Nice little bar, will definitely go there again.

This is a great spot to hang out individually or with a group. The DJ spins, the bartenders mix great cocktails and the cooks...well they cook. You have to try the ribs. They are out of this world. The meat falls off of the bone. The chicken Satays are pretty good too! This is a funky fun place.

Best drinks ever! Everything fresh and delicious. I love the Florida Keyes cocktail. And for dessert the Chocolate raspberry martini. The Voodoo Shrimp was ridiculously fabulous. The bartenders there are super talented, and willing to go beyond your basic service to make sure you are having a good time. Always great live music every time I go there, with no cover charge!

small selection of appetizers but they are awesome! the fresh-mashed cocktails, especially the margaritas (blackberry/ raspberry, etc) are the best i have had in SF. good place for cocktails for the girls and a "philly special" for the boys ($4 shot oh Jim Beam and a bottle of Pabst). good vibe, rarely over-crowded and exc. decor- slow on tuesdays-weekends are best .

Met friends there at 8:30 on a Saturday, only to find a $10 cover, and overpriced drinks ($5.50 mixed...even for SOMA, that's a bit much). At least the bartender made a fresh Whiskey Sour w/lemon. Their talent show is awful....lame crowd. Avoid.
