They delivered our child's passport earlier than committed date...much earlier than expectations.

I have applied for a visa, lady over the phone told me what type of documents need to be brought in to the office for particular visa. All the document were in the office same day, I believe another lady told me that: ?no, this is not the full package of document, need more?, so I had to come back again to apply for this visa. Once I brought all the documents, the lady assured me that the process of receiving my passport (with visa) will be returned to me within 5-7 business days. Please note that I applied for visa 3 weeks before my flight. So after 6 days, I called in to Travel Document Systems, Inc. To follow up, the woman picked up the phone, and after 30 minutes on hold, acknowledged me that ?unfortunately the ardency mailed my passport to different address ?since this embassy was under repair, the embassy moved to different location.? So it?s going to take another 5-7 business days, since the mail for returned and they need to resend it. I check on the web site of embassy ? it?s clearly stated that the embassy will be temporary at the different address. Logically company that I pay money to prepare documents for me, ahs to double check and make sure that are sending it to correct address.

Bottom line, I had to pay to push service delivery of my passport to me, and paid from my pocket. Since the simple visa procedure took total 29 days. And I have to fly next day. So I actually picked up my passport in the airport. My full payment for one week visa cost was about $ 500, instead of $ 120 originally.

When I asked Travel Document Systems, Inc if the money for postal services going to be reimbursed, the answer was ? no ? since I got the visa, and I should have just wait for the regular (cheaper mail) to come my way, instead of me stressing out. So I would not recommend this agency, first of all - I believe that people have no idea how to do business in this agency, second of all ? for all mistakes they make ? you going to end up paying.

Thank you for your review, however, as the managing director in the SF office, I don?t believe you used this office to help with your visa and here?s why: 1) Our customers NEVER have to wait 30 minutes on hold 2) We do not REGULAR mail documents to and from the consulates. We go in person every day, hence our service fee charge, to act as your liaison with the consulate. 3) We do not REGULAR mail passports to the clients. We only use tracking methods. Regular mail takes too long and can get lost. 4)The SF office has not had to do any airport trips in the last 6 months. 5) If we do make an error and it was our fault, it is our policy to refund our service fees and postage. I can guarantee this person did not use the SF office, or any other TDS office for the same reasons stated above.

I'd be happy to discuss your experience with you and offer you superior service should you have any future travel needs.

Great Service

If you are looking for a fast visa service at a very competitive price,look no further.

We had read reviews about their San Francisco office and decided to give them a try.TDS was fast and

their reply to my questions was prompt. Their fees are less than most visa services in San Francisco.

We sent in the required information and our passports and visas were returned in the same week. Kudos to TDS!

Faster than what I was expecting

I shopped around a fair amount looking for fast passport renewal for my upcoming honeymoon. For a good number of places, the price varied quite a bit, everything from $100 to $300 for the same service. Some of the places struck me also as potentially unreliable (i.e. it wasn't so much a business as it was a guy with a webpage and a phone). TDS struck me as credible since they were a founding member of the organization of travel document services. Also their prices were middle of the pack (I don't know that this is something you want to lowball, the risk for me was too high). In the end, I was expecting to send the documents out on monday and get them back by friday if I was lucky, monday more likely (I paid for their 48-72 hour service). Much to my surprise they processed it the same day they got it, sent it out that night and I got it the next morning. In total it was less than 48 hours from the time I dropped it in the mail to the time I had it back in my hand. Couldn't be more pleased.

Fast, Reliable and good value

I was in a bind and really needed a Visa to Brazil before leaving for France in a week. I got great service for their standard price (I was not taken advantage of), they have clear documented instructions, are responsive in their E-mail and retuning phone calls, their time estimate matched exactly how long it actually took, and I got everything back with a day to spare - what a relief! Very professional at competitive prices. Trustworthy. Fast with appropriate hand holding.

TDS rocks!

Maureen put my mind at ease and was apparently very accostomed to dealing with frantic, disorganized passport-wanting people. She was fair, nice and very quick. She called me, as promised, left messages for me with her colleagues, when I was late and missed my appointment with her and she actually carried teh passport to my car, when I couldn't find parking! She did all of this with a smile; and although I am certain she doesn't give everyone this type of hand-holding, she made me feel at ease, when I was in a dire state. Their prices are competitive too. I did the research.

This made the process of renewing my passport so easy, i would do it through them again, instead of mailing the documents in myself, to avoid any stress, in the future.

I was impressed by the fast and reliable service provided by TDS when my husband and I needed visas for China. The staff answered my questions knowledgeably and professionally over the phone, and we were pleased with the rapid processing of our applications. We received our visas just one week after sending in our applications. TDS has earned my business.

Great Service

Our company started using TDS about a year and a half ago and what a great experience! We are an international company with travelers needing to leave on a moments notice with expired passports and no visa. TDS has ALWAYS had a viable solution. Not once have they missed a promised arrival date of a passport. Turn around time on standard services has always been outstanding.

Kudos to TDS for Great Service!

Last fall, I utilized the services of TDS for some complicated travel made by officers of my company, and TDS came through. I had previously utilized a different visa company, which proved to be a disaster.

Following the trip last fall, I emailed TDS and told them what a wonderful job they do for me. I cannot begin to convey how much I appreciate how well they handle our travelers visa requirements! I work for individuals who travel a lot and who often wait until the last minute to make travel decisions. There have been days where I worried that passports would not be processed in time for our employees travel. I no longer worry. These recent visas arrived in a timely manner and were processed completely and correctly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TDS for all passport and visa needs!
