Thank You Evo. I just moved here from Colorado 2 days ago. It was a 21 hour drive with a big trailer by myself. I'm starting a new job out here; have lived in Colorado for 20 years and have major stress around moving, new roommates and basically starting over. I welcome the change but not the major stress headache; my neck was so tight. My lower back hurt, my eyes hurt, shoulders hurt.

I walked into Evo Spa just about ready to cry and give up today. I think her name is Mandy? Not sure. She got right to business; no small talk. She went to town on my neck, shoulders, lower back. Everything was great. I walked out there with less neck pain, no headache; I was no longer upset to my stomach. I was in bad shape when I went in. It was this massage or a muscler relaxer! I might take it for good measure still :) So thanks Evo Spa.. .I'll be back! Now I can enjoy my new home here..THANKS

Worst spa experince. I took my boyfriend to this spa on his birthday and we had nothing but dissapointment. We signed up for three services: a facial, massage, and a body treatment called Kaya Kalpa. Our facial was ok at best, but not something we would reccomend to our freinds. The other two services were horrible and have left both of us with back pain.

My massage was the least intuitive massage I have ever had. The guy was way too rough and fast. I am a dancer and usually enjoy very deep work but this guy wasn't very intuitive. I felt like I was treated like a lifeless piece of meat being tenderized for dinner. The Kaya Kalpa service could have been better. I was barely scrubed (and this service starts with a body scrub) then I only got oil put on the front side of my body. Later when I was left in the water bed contraption my lower back went out and now I can barely walk. My boyfreind had a lifeless massage and was too tall to fit in the water bed contraption, but his therapist left him in it anyway.

If this was the birthday special I would hate to see what customers normally recieve at this spa!

The Very Best. I have been a spa junkie for years. I have experienced spas all over the world and evo is one of my favorites. I feel nutured and super calm when I am there. I have had facials, massage, and acupuncture there and have never been disapointed. My favorite facial is the epicurean..makes my skin glow and look years younger. For massage my favorite so far is the rain drop ritual intensley relaxing and they say detoxifying. Love this place!!

The Best of The Best. Beautiful, welcoming ,warm and professional a gem that truly caters to the heath and wellbeing of their clients. Not only does Evo care about your outer beauty with wonderful facials, waxings etc. but your inner beauty is also addressed with nutrition ,scio treatments and with Nekka their acupuncturist, what a miracle worker she is! I love this place and it's staff I just wish there were more Evo Spa's around.

At least I tried. I decided to try this place out because the spa I usually go to in San Anselmo (Eden Day Spa) was booked. I was going to my neices wedding on Saturday so I wanted my skin to look fresh and glowing. I went to Evo on a Tuesday because usually 4-5 days is the right amount of time for my skin to settle and look its best after a facial. Unfortunately, I was wrong. My skin looked the exact same after the treatment and horrible the next morning which lasted for a whole week! I don't know what was used on my skin but I was better off not having the facial at all and wished I had waited the extra two days to get in to Eden. IT goes to show, go with what works for you and Evo definitely did not work for me.

I dont mean to put down the place at all because the aestheticain was very sweet and it is a nice spa . Also, they do offer other pretty cool treatments that may not be as bad.

EVO SPA GORGEOUS INSIDE AND OUT!. I LOVE EVO SPA. My main complaint about Spas in general is the attention to the surface level of beauty only... but not at EVO SPA. This Spa is the genuine article in that it provides INTEGRAL BEAUTY...beauty that penetrates to the inner being. The staff is friendly and knowlegable and the treatements are delightful. You can see that everything is very carefully researched and crafted with personal attention, caring and love. Everyone I know that goes to EVO SPA comes out feeling AND looking fabulous. I cannot more highly recommend a place to experience inner and outer beauty. It is EXQUISITE BEYOND COMPARE! I can only say one word about EVO SPA. GO!

I think Evo delivers a level of quality that is totally missing in other Bay Area spas.... In general I don't like spas because it's so hard to get quality and cleanliness rather than all of the dumb bells and whistles that are so appealing to the inexperienced. I love Evo because it seems as if it's creators have seen it all before and have done their best to create something exceptional. Where can you find that anymore at any price?

Some of the exotic treatments are really fantastic. I've gone for many a Hungarian facial. The Kaya Kalpa treatment is not to be missed, and I've been assured by people who know the art from the inside out that it's the real McCoy, something nearly unknown even in India.

I've found the staff to be genuine and straightforward and without the general smarminess of Mill Valley.

Although everybody has their own experiences wherever they go, my own experiences at Evo lead me to discredit the conspiracy theory regarding the positive reviews and wonder if the reverse is not the case. My feeling is that once you walk through the doors at Evo, your consideration of all the other Bay Area spa experiences will get recalibrated.

THE WORST. I hated my experience here. It should be called EVIL rather than EVO. The staff are inappropriate and perverse.

Facials are a MUST!. I tried evo spa last year for the first time after being forced by some of my friends to do something with my skin, they recomended it as a great place to get a good facial. I had not yet gotten into the spa craze like my spa snobb friends being the kind of girls getting weekly facials, but this place has changed me! My first facial at this place was AMAZING! My skin never looked so good, I got a Epicuren facial and it had my skin glowing for days! I was a little nervous when the hot gel was applied to my face but the esthetician reassured me it subsides quickly, and is a supposed to be hot, well the results far exceeded my expectations! I also purchased some products that the girls recomended and they actually work! I loved the way my skin looked so much now I come in once a month to get my face pick me up, thank god for good friends! And good facials! hahah

what a disappointment. Months ago, I had started going to this spa because I had been recommended a facialist, Tracy. She was exceptional at everything aspect of her job. I went to make an appointment recently and was told she was no longer with Evo. Strange since she always commented on how much she loved where she worked and who she worked for. Nor would they tell me where she went. The woman I was scheduled with was plain bad. Granted, it was not for a facial. Yet, her whole style was abrasive and insincere. I will not return.
