Best Value, Atmosphere & Mojito

by tbills at Citysearch

Ive been there few times & love it every time. Thier design coupled with their incredible simple wine, champaigne & coctail list with its unusual very competitive prices makes this hang out the jewel of the city.

You are ok there dressed casual but it is far from being that. Great as a date spot over a bottle of wine or a place to check before dinner at Tsunami sushi or any of the area's hangouts. Try their Mojito it i9s truly the best you will have... One is never enough..

Great hideout

by tdaya at Citysearch

You're probablt likely to miss this place, if you dont know about it already. No signs, but a set of blue bulbs above the door. Great belgian beer, small but very cozy space, great for drinks before dinner, because they close pretty early.

North Panhandle's clandestine den features modern decor and Belgian suds.

by Contributor at Citysearch

The Scene
Instead of a traditional street-side sign, 821 forgoes formality by flanking its entrance with blue lights and a house-rules placard, stating it only serves "nice people" and wants to remain a "secret." Inside, it appears as if the secret's no mystery to the mixed neighborhood crowd creating a lively vibe at this slick, candlelit den. Beneath metallic walls adorned with artsy prints, a tan-and-brown banquette offers stylish seating. Next to the lone flat-screen TV, a bar area is lined with mint-laden glasses and fresh fruit, which are used to create an array of signature cocktails--including the recommended Luxury mojito.

The Draw
Despite no hard alcohol, this place offers inventive soju-based concoctions, bubbly and stellar suds (including draft Chimay). It's intimate in size and has a slightly sophisticated aura; the perfect place for locals to take out-of-town guests and brag, "This my local watering hole."
