Walnut Creek Urgent Care

Every member of the Walnut Creek Urgent Care staff is a pro in every way. The practitioners are very easy to communicate with and compasionate also. I have been to this office on many occasions and the longest I've had to wait in the waiting room was 10 minutes. The support staff is also very friendly and patient. I never felt rushed, even though making the visit as fast as possible is obviously a priority. The previous review is obviously one written in anger. Maybe that person shouldn't have tried to get in at the last minute. The office is open from 9AM till 6:45PM every weekday. And the DON'T close for lunch. Tell me what other office was those hours. Weekend hours are also available. It is a health care provider, but it's also someones job. They deserve to go home and spend time with family and friends like everyone else. I'm sure the previous reviewer bolts out of his/her place of work right at closing time, give the staff at this fantastic the same courtesy you expect at the end of a long day.

I have been to the WC Urgent Care for three years now. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. I never waited more than fifteen minutes. I especially enjoy PA Wong's help. She's very friendly, thorough and smart. She makes me feel like she has a computer database inside her head. My aunt was very ill last year, and thank goodness PA Wong properly diagnosed her and got help from a specialist immediately, or else we wouldn't have spent the Fourth of July together this year. Having tried the other health groups in the area already, I will always return to Dr. Singh and PA Wong.

Pros: Smart , Courteous Medical Providers

I went to the urgent care with some severe health problems, and thank God I got to see Dr. Vic Singh who diagnosed my problem right away and started a treatment, as well as recommended me to a great specialist for my chronic disease. With my desease people are in 75% missdiagnosed and it takes years to get the right diagnosis. Also besides being efficient, intelligent and friendly, Dr Singh is also very technology savy and he will send your prescription from his laptop directly to your pharmacy and you can pick it up right away. I was very pleased with the service.

I've been in twice, once for a raging sore throat and once for to get some routine tests ordered. I've always seen Wong, the PA for the Doc and she's wonderful. In fact I switched to new insurance and moved but kept Vic Singh as my Primary Care so I can still see her as my PA. Keep up the good work. Efficient, intelligent, and friendly: the way medicine should be.

Pros: Pharmacy on way out of building

When I first moved to No. Cal., I needed a Dr. when I was sick. I chose this Dr. for no other reason except it's location and they had urgent care at his office. When I walked in, I got in right away. I decided to give him a try as my Primary Care Physician. Maybe I've just been lucky, but every time I've had to come in, I get in and get out w/o waiting long. Extra bonus: a pharmacy in the building on your way out. Very convenient!

One would think that if they were sick and in need of medical attention (and not necisarily emergency room service is needed) that a company that deals with helping people would be willing to help out. This is not the case with this organization. I called them up to find out when they would close. They said at a quarter of seven. Now granted when it is a Friday and everyone wants to go home then if you show up at like 7 or later then they may not be able to help you out. But when the secretary gets into an argument about semantics and 120 seconds (thats two minutes), just because a person couldn't find the building then they would be willing to help out. This is not the case with this health service group. I am going to make sure that I do the oposite of recomending this organization to anyone that is in need of medical attention. I will go as far as finding a witch doctor in the Andes to help someones ailment, but never go to Urgent Care in Walnut Creek, CA.

Cons: i wasted gas to not get help
