i've always been a skeptic on spray tans due to the possibility of looking like an orange. i've tried several other tanning places and finally found my favorite at Shimmer. their tanning solution is not orange at all. in fact, it's golden. with the help of the staff, i was able to get a perfect tan without any streaks or blotches. my tan lasted over one week. it's definitely worth it. if you decide to check it out, make sure to browse their clothing sections. they've got some really fun stuff: dresses, bathingsuit, jewelry and sportswear. i picked up some fun sportswear and bathingsuits that you can't find elsewhere in the city. i highly recommend shimmer to anyone who is considering an alternative and healthier way to tanning.

Nice staffs, Gap price for stylish clothes. I got a lot of my clothing from them, and I always get compliments whenever I wear thier clothing. The spay tanning technique is much better for my skin, and it always look golden brown not orange red. Feel very good with my look everytime I step out from the shop. It's my one stop pretty shop.
Pros: easy parking, helpful staffs, good parking
Cons: close on Sunday

i like this place. I've never had a bad tannign experience and the little boutique feel is cute and a good way to spend some time before or after an appointment. Prices are reasonable and it's a good location for right after work.

I've only been here 3 times, but each time was very quick and turned out great. The staff was friendly and informative, the first time I had several questions and they had even had a video with instructions/suggestions which was nice. They have different levels of color and are good with their recommendations to match your skin tone. the location is close to the financial district and perfect to visit right after work.
Pros: have discount for 1st time visits
Cons: wish there were more locations

If you are attracted to the finer things of life then you will appreciate Shimmer. In addition to spray on tanning they offer an assortment of coof stuff . I particularly loved my Brazilian swim suit last summer. To stay in touch with style and things I recommend checking in to see whats the newest and hottest!
Pros: clothes for yoga, lotions, swim wear

I was a bit afraid at first but, the warm reception from the staff totally made me feel at ease. I didn't know what to expect...and now I just can't stay away from Shimmer! I high recommend it! very clean and they know how to treat you right...

I always love to have my tan done from shimmer, it always makes me look health and sexy. I love the golden blonze look. I also like the shopping there, too. They always have cute stuffs. It is the most comfortableand fun tanning salon that I had ever been
