Great Find
by funloverinsf
Delicious rotisserie and sandwiches at this charming place with an amazing view...plus it's so reasonably priced. It can be crowded (but that's to be expected when something is this good and this inexpensive). Seats can be found outside. They usually open up quickly outside or don't be afraid to share a table w/a stranger. Great food. Wonderful stop in the Ferry Building. Found parking on the Embarcadero 3 blocks away. Craving their chicken as I write this....
- Pros: great tasting food, cheap, view/outdoor dining
Horrible service
by mauriceah
So, I love going to Mistral during the day-excellent food. I dropped by one Saturday, when the doors were still open. I asked if I can still get food (as two people just walked out emptyhanded). For some reason the manager starts making comments how they are closing and don't need to serve me and she just didn't stop bickering. All she had to was say that they are closed or put a "closed" sign. Very unprofessional and disrespectful.
- Pros: Great food
- Cons: Bad service, Disrespectful, Unprofessional

The food has ben great and the service has always been friendly upon my many visits...I am usually there when it's busy. I think this is the best value in the ferry bldg. huge fan of the chicken.
- Pros: chicken, veggie sides
Pick up all the makings of a Provencal picnic at this gourmet takeout spot.

In Short
Chefs Fabrice and Betty Marcon bring a traditional French sensibility to their petite lunch counter. Locally grown produce and meats provide the building blocks for the small, appealing menu of thick, fresh sandwiches and juicy, roast herbed chicken and lamb shoulder. Sides include raisin-studded couscous, ratatouille or garlicky potato confit.
Best Deal in the Ferry Building...

Have eaten at Taylor's, Golden Gate and Mistral and would have to say that Mistral's is my favorite. The rotisserie meats are quite good as are the potatoes confit, couscous or ratouille sides. For about $8 you can grab a meal and sit with a view of the Bay bridge in back since there is no dining area. I just wish they could use something better for their takeout food than the silly rectangular boxes. Very hard to eat out of those things...
- Pros: Gd rotisserie chicken
- Cons: , No Seating
Adorable Pork Store

Cutest little hole in the wall in SF -- with incredible rotisserie fired meats. Prices are very low and you can sit outside at a picnic table over looking the Bay.
- Pros: food, prices
