A geographic change, a lifestyle change and a personal fitness change converged all at once to bring me to Spring Pilates about a month ago. If you are a gym fanatic looking for a more stimulating and challenging way to strengthen your core muscles, this is the place. Highly professional. If you are new to Pilates, take the introductory lessons with Izabel, the owner. She is awesome. I like the online schedule as well - you can sign up and cancel with a few clicks.

Pros: Natural light fills each room.

Cons: No Parking, but on the bus line

I have been with Spring Pilates for almost 4 years now. I have seen them expand from a very small well equipped studio to a wonderfully spacious and even better equipped studio. As with every small business that expands there is the risk of losing that intimate feeling and personal attention. They never missed a beat, I still feel just as comfortable as I did before they expanded and have never had anything but 100% attention from all of there superb trainers. Even in there group classes they are meticulous at making sure workouts are specific to ones personal needs . they are extremely encouraging while still pushing you to go just a bit farther. A great space with wonderful people and beautiful natural light.

I've been going to Spring Pilates for more than 3 years now and have been 2500% happy with the results. All the trainers are incredible. The space is really open and relaxed and they have all the necessary equipment, gizmos to get your body in shape. I highly, highly recommend it.

After suffering from a herniated disc, I statted going to Spring Pilates to help my back pain. The staff has been excellent and the instructors have been very knowledgeable and helpful. They have classes, individual and duet lessons from Monday to Saturday. They also have added on pilates mat and yoga classes. You can really find something to fit your schedule and bugdet. Also, they have a website to schedule and pay for your classes. I am a total fan! The only bummers are no classes on Sunday and limited parking because of their location in Noe Valley.

Pros: Instructors, class size, website, location

Cons: parking

I started with Spring Pilates after having a baby. I was (am?) a difficult student because I also have a number of old sports injuries that prevent me from doing a many popular Pilates exercises. My teacher has amazed me with her ability to adapt exercises for my needs, and she never seems even slightly irritated. She's so nice (but a taskmaster!). After many months of hard work, I am much stronger and my stomach is MUCH flatter and tighter! Spring Pilates has great equipment, too. My only complaint is that the studio can get a bit warm on hot days, but they'll aim a fan right at you if you ask. One of my favorite things is that you receive the highest quality Pilates instruction in an environment where you don't have to worry that everyone is critiquing your outfit. I have taken Pilates at other studios in past years, and Spring Pilates is my favorite.

Pros: Well-trained, friendly instructors; non-judgemental atmosphere; great equipment

Cons: A bit warm on hot days
