Very disappointing!

by Ella74

I went to this bar for an after dinner drink with a friend after having dined at a nearby Italian restaurant on this street. This place is over-rated to say the least! Drinks are expensive and small, music way too loud (I thought I would never hear myself say that!) my friend and I practically had to shout at one another to carry on a conversation (Hey guys, did you ever hear the expression "background music" so your bar patrons can converse with one another?!) The wait staff were clueless and unattentive. Overall experience rates as a I won't be returning anytime soon. Good luck Voda!

  • Pros: Not a one
  • Cons: Plenty (read my review above)

the most remarkable infused vodka and on a grandioso street!

by tylerblaine

An awesome establishment with one of the most extensive vodka lists... I would say, one area where Voda shines is the infused vodka; the caramel vodka is one of my favorite drinks ever! It has a very smooth taste to it with a caramel taste and aroma. I have even been inspired to try my own but have come to the conclusion to keep coming back to Voda!

The decor in voda is a phosphorescent hue of pink and blue with red leather comfy couches. There is usually a dj spinning and two or three large groups of happy hour crowds. I have seen Voda marked as a singles spot but it seems at times it can be packed or slower depending on the time of the day. Being that it is on Belden Place, adds to the charm of Voda. The large crowd of outside diners at the other restaurants and the lights over head make Belden Place a top downtown destination.

  • Pros: Caramel vodka, on the very awesome Belden lane, great friday happy hour crowd, sleek lounge ambiance

this place bites...

by ladylinden

the music is club style, but there is no room to dance, the outdoors has no where to sit now, the drinks are weak and small, the staff is hot, but concieted and rude, the cocktails waitresses have no idea what they are doing, and there is no other bar nearby to escape to, don't waste your time. If you want a good vodka drink, have your fav bartender make one up for you, you are better off

  • Pros: wide range of vodka
  • Cons: everything else

Yummy Vodka drinks

by grvqn

So this was my first time at Voda and I had a blast. I was kind of bum of how small the drinks were for what you pay for. The drinks were really good. I tried about 7 drinks and my favorite one was the Key Lime. Tasted just like a Key Lime Pie.

The music was really good, played house. I would probably come back here again.

  • Pros: Drinks , Music, stripper pole
  • Cons: hot, no dance floor

Not Worth It

by redsnap

Have been wanting to hit this place for months now. My friends and I were SO disappointed when we met there after work to kick off our "girls night out". The service was just awful. We waited for quite awhile before our order was taken. The waitress was rude and unattentive. For a place that prides itself on beinga vodka bar, I was surprised to find the drinks weak and small. I did not get my money's worth. The first round of drinks went down fast and our waitress never came by to see if we were interested in a second. We took our party and subsequent rounds else where. None of us will ever be patrons there again.

  • Pros: Hip, after work bar, restaurants nearby, good location
  • Cons: NOT stiff drinks, HORRIBLE service, small martinis

Great Spot!

by blackmistressdiva

I love this little place! My friend and I always end our nights here. Try the caramel vodka shot. So yummy. The DJ spins stuff that'll have you bobbin' your head and drinks will have it spinning!

  • Pros: drink menu
  • Cons: small

Great lounge for Drinks!

by ubetchajoe

I've been going to Voda since it opened and I love it. Happy hours are awesome with the couches and tables in the alley. What better way to start an evening out than drinks here then rolling on to any of the excellent restaurant's on Belden (Plouf's & Cafe Bastille are my favorites!) One of the two owners is always around and they are always accomodating and gracious. I had my birthday there with 60+ people and it was a great time.

  • Pros: drinks, price, seating

Try the Ginger Bikini Line

by skaplansears

The cocktails are very good, if designed to conceal the fact that one is drinking alcohol. The happy hour was fun and upbeat. The only downside was the service; they only assigned one, probably inexperienced waitress to the entire outdoor area. Once people started arriving in earnest, it was almost impossible to get a drink without heading inside to the bar.

  • Pros: Outside Couches, Assorted Vodkas, Not Too Loud
  • Cons: Poor Service, $120 Bottle Absolut?
