Will never be back!. Long wait! We decided to have some drinks at a bar while we waited for our table but nobody helped us. Bartenders saw us but just ignored. Hello? They could get more money if they serve us drinks!!! After the long wait, we were assigned to a table right next to the rest rooms. We had to listen water noise and stinky bath room air freshener.

The menu was too complicated! We ordered a plate whatever the name. The description was blah-blah-blah, sausage or veggie gravy. Everyone on my table thought the option was "sausage" or "veggie gravy". When we ordered, the server yelled at us we were wrong. Thanks for the education! We had to read it "sausage gravy" or "veggie gravy". We asked her to make a plate with a sausage and other stuff. She kept arguing with us to correct it. We ended up paying "an extra sausage" with a weird gravy sauce that none of us touched. Oh, she totally forgot to ask us other options for the plate. It should have a biscuit or a muffin or something like that. She was too busy to "lecture" us how to read the menu.

Busy but worth it!. Everytime I have freinds from LA or a late night in town PSC is the first place we go on Saturday. Yes, there will be a wait and yes it is very small but, once you are in, your coffee will never see the bottom of its cup and I highly recommend (Pork eaters) the PSC special. It consists of two pork chops, eggs-your choice, potatoes or O'brian potatoes a biscuit-ask for their gravy and I believe a muffin or english muffin. I am a big guy and every time I eat at PSC believe it or not I am full all day! It is comfort food and the staff is very busy but, quick, kind and helpful. I also recommend their fried chicken...smaller portion then the prior meal mentioned but if you are in a lunch mood it is excellent. PSC por vida.

Cure your hangover in here!!!. We went there (party of 6) on a saturday morning at 9am. It was not crowded at all. They won't let you make reservations between 10.30am - 1:30pm... I guess that's when It get super busy in there. All of us had breakfast, coffee and mimosas and we spent about 75 plus tip. The service was "casual" but friendly. This is the kind of place you don't have to dress up to go to brunch. Everybody looks like they just rolled out of bed. The crowd is young and the food is good.

Missionites take breakfast very seriously at this roomy cafe.. The Scene
The large space boasts high ceilings, a long counter, and a few sidewalk tables in addition to loads of little wooden tables and semicircular booths. Diners pass the time by studying the wall's large U.S. map, which along with antique kettles, pans, oars, and yellowed flags add elements of Americana to the decor.

The Food
The kitchen dishes up down-home American eats with a healthy, fresh California twist. While carnivores relish a succulent slab of a sausage patty or pork chop--or perhaps tender honey-cured bacon--his vegetarian neighbor will enjoy a smoky Santa Fe scramble with veggie chorizo or the completely vegan tofu scramble. This location also serves up home-style lunch and dinner options like the New York Reuben (for meat-eaters) and the San Francisco Reuben (for vegetarians).

Good food, bad waitstaff. I recently went here and the breakfast came out quickly and was delicious. However, the waitress we had was AWFUL. My boyfriend and I are a very friendly couple, I don't know why we received such attitude. I would try their Haight street branch...

Pretty decent food.. I love breakfast and there aren't too many spots to get it at...or so it seems. I tried this place out, and the food although not fabulous, was still quite tasty. I think I must have ordered three meals all for myself. I can never pick just one!

It gets busy so get there super early or after the morning rush.

Vegan food at the Pork Store. While visiting the city, I was craving some happy, healthy food with substance. A friend recommended meeting at the Pork Store Cafe. At first, the name threw me. I wasn't expecting to find vegetarian items (or VEGAN for that matter!) on the menu. The menu is predominately filled with pig (bacon, ham and pork chops), and there are many piggy options. There are a few other items that are vegan safe, which was really surprising.

All in all, the meal was great. There were Mango Mimosas (which seem to be popular in the mission) and prompt service. I would recommend the place and definately return next time I'm in town!

Where long lines actually fit the bill!. This place is my top pick for breakfast! The platters always come with a ton of food and my coffee cup is never empty! There's always a consistent quality of service and food here: SUPERB! I can't think of a better way to start off your morning with a good meal and then shopping it up on Haight St.

Yummy yum!. Ive only eaten at the Pork Store once, and it was delightful. It was my first taste of Eggs Florentine, and Im going back for seconds. In fact, all our food was tasty. The service was not great, but nothing unbearable.
