by FrustratedMom
Mmmmm - I love this place. I will not get a burrito anywhere else because it just does not compare. Totally worth the drive from the Marina bc it is that good!
- Pros: best burritos
- Cons: i have to drive there - i wish it was a block from my house so i could eat there everyday
Fast and Easy Burritos
by saira1123
This is a yummy little place that consistently delivers great burritos. I always get the bean and cheese and they pack in all the good stuff to make it a truely great bite. I really like the guac that they have, it is always fresh and the spices they add are delicous. Here's a tip add the hot sauce it gives this rating an extra star!
- Pros: Burritos
- Cons: The staff can be a tad stiff
Legendary Burrito Goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by golfwp1976
I have been eating at Gordo's ever since I was little and nothing has changed about this place. 9th and Lincoln was my home Gordo's and the burritos are as amazing as ever. The Super boiled chicken with pinto beans, salsa, cheese, and hot sauce is unrivalled. I live in San Diego now and in what is supposed to be a mexican food epicenter, nothing here compares to gordos friendly, fast service and soul warming food. Keep up the good work
- Pros: clean, delicious food
- Cons: parking but it worth it
Fat Burritos
by nottheally
I came here and got the smallest burrito and finished half of it because it was so enormous, you can make it how you want it and I recommend getting the guacamole on the side, prices are cheap and well worth the amount of food!
- Pros: nice people & service, great food
Best Burritos. Period.

I've been eating Gordos since I was little and though I no longer live in SF, everytime I come home I make a point of getting it. There are a few locations, the one on Clement has decent parking but it's always worth the effort no matter which location you go to. For every new visitor I have to SF I take them to Gordo's to show them how burritos should be. Let me also point out that the staff is always incredibly friendly and polite. Keep up the great work!
- Pros: Burritos, Service and guacomole
- Cons: None
I Love this Place
by bitpump
This is the best burrito I have ever tasted. The super burrito is truly super with melted cheese carnitas and carne asada(I usually order the combo of carnitas and carne asada). The meat is always of high quality unlike some other places that gives you poor quality meat. Two people with 2 super burritos and drinks only comes to $14. This is the best food at a very reasonable price.
- Pros: burrito
- Cons: parking difficult
THE Best Value in the BAY
by amoebaca
Super chile verde, sour cream, extra salsa & hot sauce. I could drive an hour for it. Try one then have an expensive meal in town. Ask yourself if the difference in price can be justified. 80% of the time you'll wish you'd saved the money. Please Gordo's, come to the Peninsula! My mouth is watering just thinking about that burrito!
- Pros: Great Value, Near GG Park, Great Value
- Cons: Parking challenging
Not like any other

I have been going to Gordo's since I was a kid. As an adult and having had my fair share of other taquerias, I go back to Gordo's and advocate for them all the time. The reason why I like Gordos is this: when I ask them for a quesadilla with all the meat, rice and fixings in it, they heat up the tortilla first and THEN they put in the meat, rice and fixings etc. The other places I've been to throw everything together and then heat it up. This is not cool because then I'm biting into a burrito with pink juice (mixed from the salsa and SOUR CREAM-yuck!) Who wants to eat warm, melted sour cream? Gordos is cheap, delicious and their service is fast-even if the line is out the door! I always go to the one on 9th Avenue, which has always been my favorite.
- Pros: Inexpensive, Delicious, Fast service

I lived off Gordo's Burritos for years. My regular Gordo was on 9th but I've been to the Clement st Gordo many times as well. The 9th ave outlet has been remodled and made larger which was needed. I've eaten dozens of burritos from around the city and nothing get's better that Gordo. I don't live in the city anymore but I eat at Gordo everytime I visit. The carnitas are awesome. The super burrito will keep you satiated for hours.
- Pros: Quick, Cheap, Delicious
