It's like every other boutique in San Francisco. Unfriendly staff. Over-priced.

An eclectic mix of home accessories, apparel and sweet- smelling bath and beauty products for moms and little tykes.

Instead of relying on shelves and racks for displaying merchandise, this über-cute Hayes Valley shop showcases much of its merchandise on shabby-chic furnishings that are also for sale. Aromatherapy candles and fragrance oils line the shelves of a child's armoire, while plush baby blankets and pillows occupy an old-fashioned white crib. Among the varied offerings here are locally designed handbags, aprons, gift cards, sleepwear and clothing for little ones from Delilah Crowne, Mon Petit Oiseau, Votiva and Lotta Jansdotter.

Stylish gifts and fined selection

Found in the heart of Hayes Valley, this little shop is my favorite place to find gifts in SF. I've also purchased some great, unique baby gifts and a few things for my place.

This is a store that I cannot pass up! There are just way too many adorable items -- from these great siliver ice-cream containers to the adorable felt creations, I always find something that I love. But if you go, be sure to bring your wallet, because there will be some item at Lavish that you MUST have.

lavish holds an excellent aray of items, picked by a skilled eye, to apease even the toughest shoppers. its is a great one-stop gift boutique for a baby shower, birthday or thank you gift.
