Captain Hook meets Mr. Rogers at this quirky pirate supply store with a heart.

The dark, cozy storefront purports to be a pirate supply shop, but it's a tongue-in-cheek front for the Dave Eggers-funded youth literacy center operating from the back room. Rotten-looking beams and a mysterious vat give the illusion that you're deep in the bowels of an ancient ship, while the glass cases and cramped shelves suggest a loony museum. Pirate supplies are indeed for sale; brigands can buy outfits, a glass eye, a crutch or maps.
