The Best sushi I have ever try

"The Best sushi I have ever try in my life. Highest food Quality, excellent service, beautiful waitress will smile on their face all the time. I have been there for 3 times already and surely will back again soon. I was surprised that their fish is very fresh everytime when we eat there. The quality is as good as when we ate in Japan and the price is very reasonable. You all need to try their "Fire Cracker Roll" ***Must Try***. amazing. Every time we went their, there are not much people so that u don't need to wait. This is the best restaurant you will want to try. I love this place !!!!!! 6 stars *0*"

Best Sushi anywhere, very "REASONABLE PRICE"!

We always go to have sushi at GIS at least once per week. Great food, very fresh, they re using "REAL" crab meat in California Roll, Rainbow Dragon roll, Golden Dragon roll...etc. Recently, we tried the "Fire Cracker" roll & the Lion King roll, WOW!!!! is really delicious and taste really good, we love it so much. It was recommended by the people sitting next to our table. The service are really good! Waitress and waiter are so friendly. I really want to recommend the Japanese carbonated "Marble" soda to all of you guys who would like to try the new funny soda, the lid of the soda is covered by a "marble", try it!! You will like it. Keep the glass and bring it home.

Normally we always order udon in soup when winter comes, the soup base are so so good and NO MSG at all.

When we go to have sushi on Friday, we always see a "BIG" group of customers there and they all having funs and I was told from one of the customer from that "BIG" group, they had never been charged any service charge or any kind of tips on the bill even they have over 20 people there.

In Conclusion, I highly recommend to try to DINE-IN at GIS, and please try to order few sushi rolls when you place the to go order, since they tried to put all the sushi roll on the very nice and decorated platter, it looks so so nice, we love it so much!!

Please go and try! Very reasonable price!!

Best Japanese Restaurant

We love their food especially the sushi and sashimi. I was surprised that their fish is very fresh everytime when we eat there. The quality is as good as when we ate in Japan and the price is very reasonable. We enjoy their excellent service too. =)

Our favorites are sushi (any kind) chicken terriaki, vegetable and shrimp tempura, and sushimi.

The service is great. Never had to wait for a table. The waitress's/waiter's are friendly and fast.

This is our favorite Japanese restaurant.

Don't waste your time

There were 4 other parties in the restaurant when we ate there. 3 were finishing up their meals. It took FOREVER - there was no excuse. The waitress was mostly just hanging around, talking to what appeared to be friends in the other party.

There were no signs that the kitchen was busy with take-out orders, since no one came to pick up during the time we were there. Time from being seated to receiving our food was an hour, and only one of the 2 of us was served. The second person's dinner came as we finished up the first.

The quality of the food was at best average, the prices weren't cheap enough to excuse either the culinary mediocrity or the abominable service.

Best Sushi in Pacifica

Pacifica has been endowed with 5 Japanese restaurants. I have eaten at 4 of the 5. What makes Golden Ichiban Sushi (GIS) the best is their high quality food and their friendly service. I get take out quite often and specially request sushi rolls be cut into 8 pieces rather than 6 pieces. When I request this over the phone, I am immediately recognized by my first name. Their food is on par with the most fancy Japanese restaurants in San Francisco. The decor is eclectic...and keeps your interest. Excellent sushi, udon, tempura, crab puffs, gyoza, teriyaki! And VERY REASONABLE prices.
