Gifts items here are really cute, good clothes (they can be pricey but sales are awesome). I agree that the very limited exchange/no returns policy should be very clearly stated , especially around the holidays. I did buy a bunch of gifts here and 2 recipients could not exchange them a few weeks later - unused with tags on (I cover them with wrap paper). Furniture is not well made. Staff friendliness is inconsistent.

it's kinda funny about the review that describes this place as "bad customer service" because i went in there one night and i remember a really awful couple screaming at the top of their lungs horrible profanities at the sales girl because she would not break the return policy (it was the couple's fault by the way, as stated in that review). The girlfriend of the couple had to drag her boyfriend out while screaming at the girl...i was scared and i wasn't even the one being yelled at. all and all i think the sales people handled themselves very well. After the nightmare couple left, the sales people were still completely attentive and friendly...although a little shaken. but still, they delivered great service. i love this store and i am glad that crazy couple will probably never go back there again, i don't want them ruining my shopping experience.

After trying to return an item after the 10-day exchange limit (our mistake), the employee poorly explained the policy and then told us that she wouldn't want to take the product back anyway since they had a hard time "getting rid" of it in the first place. Then went on to insult us and call my boyfriend scary when he said that was poor customer service to say that. Unfortunately things escalated and we left in a huff. We will not shop there again,
Pros: Fun Gifts
Cons: Bad Customer Serivice, Difficult Parking

I live a few blocks from this store and visit it often. They are always adding new merchandise, so it makes for a fun shopping experience (even of you are just browsing). The prices are affordable for cute, modern home accesories (furniture is more in the moderate to high range, but still a good deal). Service is where this store really stands out. The salespeople are helpful and friendly. You won't get attitude here like at some SF home decor shops (Propeller in Hayes Valley being the worst offender). I shop here and at Den down the street (which has mostly vintage items at higher price points, but still, great service).
Pros: great service, variety, affordable
