Great vegetarian sandwich and side salads

Admist the hell that is Union Square, there's a tiny Boudin's (on O'Farrell) that makes good/affordable food. Does this location have the ambiance of the Market St restaurant? No-- but it beats the mad press of the Macy's food court steps away. When I'm jonesing for a good vegetarian sandwich I head over to Boudin. Personally, I'm not crazy about Union Square but since I live in the Loin this location is within easy walking distance.

San Francisco is the home of sourdoug hbread and no one does it better than Boudins. The croussants are flaky and buttery, and they even have some drizzled with chocolate. But the bread is the best anywhere. Once you have it you'll order it delievered like I do.
Just the best.
