Kid-Friendly snack stop on Union Square

WP Express is a great no-frills, quick option for busy shoppers, especially those with children. With toddler and child-friendly menu items like chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, little pizzas, and quesadillas, it makes the perfect pitstop for a quick snack or mid-shopping-day meal. I think their tortilla soup is the best deal on Union Square- $2.95 for a decent portion of tomato-y, mildly spicy goodness, garnished with goat cheese. They also have a sushi bar and it's not bad. It can get busy, especially around mid-afternoon and the atmosphere leaves much to be desired (noisy, upscale food court), but the convenient location and yummy, cheap food more than make up for that.

Pros: Fresh Ingredients, great value, location

Cons: Noisy
