HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, ATROCIOUS SHACK!. Please, Please don't come to this restaurant! It had horrible service, horrible food, and I was glad to get out of there! I ordered an entre from the menu and was served only one forth of the meal for some reason and the waiter ( the only one) did not seem to understand and after waiting for 20 minutes, i was server the remaining portion. There was utter confusion in the restaurant and i was told that the only waiter was 'new'. I had to order dessert a few times before it showed up! I'm never going there again!

Great Tandoori wraps and good lunch spot. They have increased their prices over the last few months so the value for money is not as high. The tandoori chicken wraps are very good sized, and the chicken tikka masala is my favorite. They marinade and broil the chicken bits before cooking it with the sauce so the chicken is flavorsome but still retains the tenderness. The portions tend to be single-serve so this is not really the place to order family style. It is a also great regular for tasty Indian food that isn't too greasy!

Get your chaat fix here.. The food here is great. Pretty much everything we've ever had here has been fantastic. My favorite is the samosa chaat and cholay bhaturay. Mm mm.... The service often leaves much to be desired. May have something to do with the fact that it used to be a self-serve style restaurant that's having to adjust to doing the whole wait staff thing. It's a bit of an adjustment for them, but their occasional fumbling is well worth the trouble for excellent food.

Awesome!!!. I love this place because you can stuff yourself with great food for about 10 bucks or less. I like just about everything I've had here, especially the potato or Lamb stuffed naan, butter chicken, samosas and spicy kabob wrap. Read the descriptions because a few of the cold dishes are wierd and yogurty (i don't really like yogurt), but most of the stuff is out of this world. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Average Indian Food, Poor Service. Since it's its namesake, it's a relief that the chaat dishes here are edible. We had the pani puri and papri chaat - both were relatively fresh but lacked the comlex seasonings that make these dishes great at other places. Yes, I know it's a chain. The service was ridiculously bad - I was reminded that might be the cafe's bid to be an authentic Indian restaurant. Overall, there are better places to have Indian food in SF.

bang for the buck!. this is the best cheap eat for indian food in the city (besides shalimar and pakwan, of course) ! the difference though is the ambience! desi chicken wraps and boti kebab wraps are great!

Lived up to the hype with ease!. I decided to try this place after seeing the numerous awards it received on city search. I was not disappointed. What a value and taste! I got a tandori chicken wrap and it was packed with delicious, tender cubes of meat. I enjoyed every last bite. My friend got the veggie wrap, it was just as good. The prices are very low and our food was ready in minutes.

Best SOMA lunch. You can order just about anything on the menu and be confident that it will be delicious, plus it will always be under $10 at lunch time. Even with a line one can usually finish a meal in about 25 min. The Tikka masala comes highly recommended as does the salmon on fridays which is only $7.99 at lunch.
