When my brother left the hospital, for home his large, handsome and unique bouquet from Rose and Radish was left behind in the emotion of the event. When we went to search for it an hour later, it had entirely disappeared in the clean-up of his room. Calling the florist to inquire about a replacement, no designers were on duty over the weekend. I therefore went to the local floral mart to pick up the ingredients for another like bouquet to surprise my ailing brother. I found that the vase and 4 sets of flowers that it took to build the original arrangement more than accounted for what it would have cost to have R & R reproduce and deliver it. If you want to show great love of someone, I would wholeheartedly recommend this florist for their beautiful design and use of unusual flowers.
Pros: Beautiful unique design
Cons: No designers on duty over the weekend

I walked past Rose and Radish last week and stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the amazing flowers in the window display. I have never seen flowers like these! I had to go in and ask what they were and the salesgirl told me they were dahlias grown in half moon bay. I bought one huge flower and enjoyed it all weekend. The store is so fun and colorful for their kid's party show. i couldn't resist buying a princess crown too!
Pros: Amazing selection, helpful staff, beautiful store
Cons: a little pricey but worth it

I do not recommend buying flowers from this place. My husband ordered an arrangement from Rose & Radish for our anniversary. When I received it, I thought it was pretty nice, though not very filled out. It looked like there were a few holes here and there in the arrangement (as if the amount of flowers were not enough to fill the size of the vase). I thought that my husband probably only spent $60-80 and that was why it looked pretty nice, but not amazing. I found out later that he paid almost double what I had guessed... $140! It definitely did not look like it was even near breaking $100. Then, I was really disappointed, and he was, too. He said that he actually felt ashamed (!) and embarassed for having spent so much and that it arrived looking the way that it did. He nor I will ever get an arrangement from Rose & Radish again and will not recommend to anyone that we know. The arrangement they created honestly looked like $30-40 worth of flowers (just hydrangeas & roses) plus $100 for their artistic styling (which is nice, but not that innovative). They should have only charged $60-80 for the arrangement.

I had hoped to send a quick gift of flowers to say thank you to a friend, but ended up more sorry than thankful. After a rude encounter on the phone, which included being scoffed at for wanting same day delivery, and a request for something red, my friend emailed me a photo of the flowers that she had received. It seems that when you use Rose & Radish, all $75 and an ear full of bad attitude gets you is 10 pink tulips (not red) in a vase delivered one day late. I tired to contact them to complain, but didnt get a response. Save your time and money and use another florist.
Cons: bad service, over priced

My fiancee and I were looking for a florist for our wedding and we've heard about the shop's chic and moderness. we are financially established and ready to spend even though we look young, only to find that we were greeted with a phrase "we do have a minimum requirement of $5000 for weddings, and if you don't spend that much you can pick up your bouquet". we were both stunned by the comment, not so much of the context because it's within our budget, rather the way it was said as we both thought it was a professional florist. To us, even if they have the best flowers we will not choose to go with them as the person we talked to certainly did not know the basics of doing business. and we would much prefer not having flowers in our wedding then dealing with attutide of this sort.
Cons: no customer service

My fiancé spent $157.00 on what he thought were going to be awesome roses and they were dead in two days! I feel the company knowingly sold bad quality roses to their benefit when they had nicer less expensive ones. They were not nice and very unaccommodating when I called to complain. We feel completely ripped off.
Cons: Bad Quality, Customer Service, Expensive

The space at the Rose and Radish is large and interesting. The help are friendly and knowledgeable. The selection of flowers is somewhat diverse. However, the prices are completely outrageous. I couldn't believe that I was charged nearly $40.00 for 4 stems of tubarose and 2 lotus pods. That's crazy. They also told me, "We don't have filler." And while I am not a fan of babies breath or crappy ferns, for that kind of money throw some eucalyptus leaves or some colorful branches or berries or something in my bouquet! Anyway it was an interesting experience but I won't be repeating it.
Pros: Nice People, Pretty Flowers
Cons: , No filler
