i was a religious sunhee moon shopper, until i moved across the country and had to get my fix whenever i made it back into town. but they recently revamped their website and are good about putting new stuff up on the site. The best thing about shopping in the store is the customer service, but I can call and have the woman there help me putting together an order so i can still have a taste of the experience from all the way over here.

i've always loved supporting local designers, and sunhee moon is at the top of my list. i first met the designer in her mission shop on 16th st, and she was so charming. now she has a store on fillmore in pac heights. her clothes are fun but classic. they can be worn year to year and will always be stylish. for all you girls who love comfortable, fashionable clothes, and great service this is the place to shop.

it's a bit smaller than the one on 16th, but still great. Same lovely clothing, simple but not boring. Calling them classics would not do them justice.
Pros: service, design, selection

They have really cute clothes by a great local designer. I'm very glad to have them in the neighborhood. The prices are a little high but the quality is good and you're supporting a local designer. The clothes seem well made and classically cut. Not trendy, but definitely eye catching. The only problem is the clothes are tiny. They made up their own sizing system, but I don't think any of the pants are bigger than a size 8 although the skirts seems to run a little bigger. I wish I could shop there.... Oh well... Wahat is a normal-sized girl to do. Also, the staff seems to be not at all knowledgable or helpful.
Pros: limited sizes, ignorant staff
Cons: quality clothes, local designer, good location

I am so happy that sunhee moon has moved their store to 16th street in the mission district. This new location fits the store's character like a glove and accents the neighborhood perfectly! I've noticed that when the store changed locations, sunhee moon's interior design and products has positively changed as well. Tons of beautiful prints and clothes, stylish yet still classic, and I love all of the new accessories. There's so much stuff in there it's a party in itself just looking through everything!
Pros: Great Location, Good Parking, Beautiful clothes

You can count on Sunhee Moon's collections to be playful and wearable. She's an inspiring artist. Her unique combination of unexpected color and classic, wearable silhouettes enable her to deliver a women's line that is contemporary and sporty. Her hip -yet friendly -boutique is a welcome addition to the Lower Haight.
Pros: her pants fit!, great fabrics, classic cuts/styles

you can't help but notice the difference in sunhee moon's shop immediately. even through the window you can see that it's different from the other places in the lower haight and is unique in its own right. there's something about the fact that her clothes are designed and made by a bay area native, yet are timeless. i bought my favorite pair of red pants there ... and be sure, i would have never bought red pants before. i love her vision and her attention to detail. you gotta go!

Sunhee Moon clothes are the ultimate in clean lines, ready-to-wear simplicity and all-occassion coolness. I get compliments on a lot of her pieces when I wear them and the versatiliy of her style and fabrics mean that I can wear them often (and look ultra stylish). Her cuts are very flattering, and her tops are especially easy and fun. She also carries lots of "essential" closet pieces...basics that are not so basic!
Pros: Stylish, Versatile, Flattering
Cons: Not for Full Sized
