Took my wife here for her birthday and we had the cheft's special which is a 5 course sampling menu for $45/person. I thought that is a pretty good value. The portions are smaller, but by the time you finish the dessert, it's just perfect. The place is small and a bit cramp, but that's the case in San Francisco. The only thing I have to warn people is about the stairway to the restaurant. It's dangerously steep and small steps. When coming out after dinner, you really have to watch out, especially after a few drinks and it's dim and windy on that night. Parking is difficult, but that depends on your luck I guess. But the food is outstanding and the experience is unforgettable.
