Customer is NEVER right!

I had a bizarre experience here. The staff (an older man, possibly the owner) made my drink, rang me up for $3.53, I gave him a $10 bill, and just as he was handing me my change, said, oh, it's actually $5. I said, "why?" and he mumbled something about an extra shot of espresso. I objected that he didn't tell me that he was adding another shot and would charge more. He said that there was also soy milk - it's on the board. "Soymilk" is on the board, but there is no price next to it -- and every other item does have an accompanying price. So he said, how much did you give me, $5? I give it to you, you go now! He was kicking me out of the cafe for questioning the price, which he changed mid-transaction!!! And then attempted to give me $5 back for the $10 I gave him! All this took place in under a minute, I couldn't even process why I was being asked to leave. I consider myself a very respectful, kind person, always willing to communicate and never losing my temper, and here I was being kicked out of this cafe because he charged me the wrong price! Unbelievable. I will never in a million years go back here -- they have no concept of customer service AT ALL.

For lingering at its best, there's usually a seat available at this popular cafe.

It's not just the free Internet access and location that keeps these chins wagging; it's also the Thanksgiving brand coffee and bodacious tea selection that has them all a'jitter. It's more a hangout than a destination, but standard light bites are also available.
