Sloppy and lousy service says most of it! This place has caused me so much frustration. It has been over 7 months since my wedding, and currently I'm still waiting for a final layout for my wedding album. They are horrible with communication, they rely on "so called" desingers from Taiwan to do the layouts who cannot get things right. I have to communicate the same changes numerous times, which is why the delay. Once they hook you with their sales pitch, and you make that first payment, you are stuck. It's downhill from there. The quality and service is the worst I have seen. They are extremely unprofessional and what bothers me most is that they constantly claim what great quality of work they provide. How can they say such thing when they can't even produce products within a reasonable timeframe? I see them taking out other people's finalized album to show others without their permission, and how they glue the albums, is they have their workers sit on them so they stay. It's just SLOPPY! I seriously think the good comments listed from others on this page are their own people writing them. This place is so shady that I wouldn't count that out. It's not worth the stress. You're better off paying a little more elsewhere, not that they were cheap. Loveliness has made my wedding photography expeience an awful one. BEWARE!!

I must agree with all the victims here. Their service is so bad. Please, don't go there. I garantee you will regret unless you leave next to them and visit them everyday. So far all the comment I heard is the time they take. You may not care at the first moment, but if you still can't get your marry photos after couples months. Why you take the photo???

Pros: May be good photo, but I never have chance to enjoy it

Cons: their excellent ignorance to customers.

Even though they took good photos, they took forever to deliver your stuff to you! So far we have been waiting for 8 months for our wedding photos and DVD!! What the heck~? We called, we emailed, they just bs that the one who in charge was not there. Dude, what should we do? I want our one-life-one-time memory! Don't go there! It is totally a trap!! They always treat you like prince and princess when you reached there the first time, or at least when you have not pay full!

Pros: you can enjoy your moment of prince and princess when you walk in

Cons: you never can get what you paid for

I loved my engagement pictures and my wedding gown!!! It seems like everyone complains about the poor service about this place but I think they're really good. They are more like a family environment rather than very business-like, which my husband and I prefer. I was also a bit skeptical when I read all the bad reviews but I decided to go see for myself and I'm so glad that I did. They were able to make me look absolutely flawless, either with the incredible makeup (they gave me the crease in my eye that I don't normally have), the photography lighting, or the final touch-ups in photoshop. I don't really care how they did it, my photos came out great and I would highly recommend them. It sounds like everyone else is complaining about their service. Shouldn't artists be judged based on their work rather than how soon they can return emails and calls? Hey, I guess if they're slow, it just means they are that good and that busy! And I know why after seeing my pictures!

Pros: Amazing makeup and great photographer (Ricky)

Cons: Makeup artist can't travel to your hotel

Our experience with this company was absolutely HORRIFIC! Not only did this company put us through a lot of stress by delaying our wedding albums & video delivery; The staff and the owner were not responsive to our calls and emails. They changed photographers on us the day of our Engagement shoot & a couple of days before the wedding. They keep insisting the photographers they had replaced was the best. When we all agreed to have a particular person in mind way before the wedding. They also lost some of our pictures and made so many errors on our lay-outs & still keep making mistakes after all the emails, phone calls and discussing the said issue in person. They had also made us drive back & forth to their office to look for the missing photos ourselves which they claimed they could not find yet we were able to find it after three consecutive weekends of spending time in their office. Their staff are INCOMPETENT and can't understand simple directions. It has been a year now and we are still awaiting results. I wish I had the chance to check the past reviews otherwise I wouldn't have hired them. I would NEVER ever recommend this company to ANYONE. It was the biggest mistake to hire them.

My friend just got married and I was one of her bridesmaids. I agree with the first two postings. In the beginning, when you meet them, they seem friendly and nice. That’s just a mask. Yes! You might be hook to their company in the 2 3 times when you talk to them. That's because they market their work and company everyday, obviously they are very good at it and make you hook. They have tactic! Whenever you request for something or change something to the photos (simply like picture touch up), they want to charge you extra (on top of your photo package.) A staff said the touch up is difficult to do and it takes more time for their staff, so they need to charge extra for the time." What! touch up needs to charge? They are difficult people to work with during the wedding planning process. They are manipulative and irresponsible. They did not do my friend's touch up pictures until 2 months+ later, that's after the photo shooting. They do not put customer first. You can go and see it yourself. Good luck!

My husband and I went there to hire a wedding day photographer. When we got there, it seemed like a nice and reliable place. We ended up hiring a specific photographer after looking through each photographer's album. On our actual wedding day, we were surprised to find a different photographer than the one we requested and paid for! Obviously we didn't have time that day to argue, but when we called them a few weeks later to complain they just kept denying it was their fault, saying things like "but he is the best, and he is really good!" That is definitely not the issue. We needed them to communicate to us when chages like this happen. Eventually Judy (one of the staff) apologized, but they offered us no compensation. They said that the photographer we hired actually quit before our wedding day we they replaced him with another person. Then they said it was unnecessary to inform us because that photographer was the best. Needless to day, my husband was still furious and lectured them thouroughly about the importance of communicating with your customers. The pictures themselves turned out okay. Many of the shots were not as unique as we would have liked. The photographer did not try to conform to our style of pictures. Instead he insisted on his way of doing things. As a result, we were disappointed in the actual pictures, even though the quality was good. I would not recommend anyone to use their service. They treat their customers poorly and their service is unreliable.

This place is bad! We had our engagement and wedding day photos taken by them. We should have been smarter to avoid them. First time we went to their studio at SF (geary & 15th street, next to the old shanghai restaurant), they pretended to be very friendly and helpful and got us hooked with their engagement and wedding day photo packages. However, this was where the trouble started. On the engagement photo taken day, tuxedo was already delivered to their studio. However, the tuxedo suit was very loose, and the pant was 2 sizes longer. It was not so bad since they were able to find a shorter pant with a different brand. The photographer called Simon took the photo for us that day. We personally thought that he was not very detail oriented, which is a big NO for a professional photographer. Don't expect him to tell you that your wedding gown was sticking out or having a lot of wrinkles when photos were taken. Period. You need to take care of yourself. As the result, the engagement photos were nothing but poor or strange poses. Even worse, you were only allowed to select 36 out of all photos to make up your album. You NEED to pay all other photos if you like them. YES, listen, they DO NOT give away all untouched photos like other studios do. Their price is as twice as others, and they don't give away original photos. Terrible! After we selected the photos, they sent them back to Taiwan again for editing. The editing work was so cheesy. They did not know how to take quality photos. But instead, they tried to use photoshop and some poorly designed artwork to make up the lack of shooting skills. We were not satisfied with the result and wanted some improvement on the layout work. The boss, Shirley was getting mad with us and yelling at us. What a good customer service from them. You knew what, we have to pay extra if we wanted to select different photos. That was only one of the nightmares from them. There are many studios out there doing better job. LEAVE them alone.

My experience with loveliness had been really fun. Each time i go there, we (my current husband and i) were greeted like family and we were able to joke around with the staff and the photographers, which made the photo sessions much easier and our smiles more natural. The makeup and hair styles for the engagement photos and my wedding were exactly how i wanted it- natural and still look my age (mid-20's). I didn't realize how hard it was to find makeup artists anywhere else that understood me and can satisfy such a simple request! I really would recommend any new couples who's planning their wedding to go with them. They provide so many services which made it a lot easier for my fiance and i to get everything done in one place rather than driving around to different vendors. Who has the time nowadays??? It is understandable that sometimes it takes a while to get the pictures. They are so busy and it's only because they are so good! For me and my husband, we don't mind waiting a little for the quality we received. In addition to their great work, i'm sure you'll also have a good experience with loveliness like we had!

Pros: two thumbs up!

Cons: parking can be a little difficult on weekends
