I recently went to Posh Salon after reading the reviews on CitySearch. I could not have been happier with my experience, and I'm a persnickety and neurotic client, and I have been to lots of high end salons in this city and come away disappointed and frustrated. Posh Salon was great. Firstly, I liked the fact that its a smaller salon with no assistants. It was a pleasure to have the same stylist wash, treat, and blowdry my hair. I like the products that the salon provides, in my experience they are the best on the market (Kerastase, Bumble and Bumble). There was no sales pressure whatsoever to purchase products. My colourist, Kelly, clearly listened to everything I said about my hair, and she gave me one of the best partial highlight/lowlights I have had for a long time. I left the salon feeling really happy, and I kid you not, was stopped almost immediately on the street and complimented on my hair. Kelly paid great attention to detail, my foils went in close to my scalp, and I have really come out looking perfectly blond, when I lift portions of my hair there are no areas that I'm disappointed with. She listened to what I wanted, and also made suggestions, which I REALLY liked. From the consultation at the beginning of the appointment I felt very secure in her abilities, and so I was able to relax and enjoy the experience. THANK YOU Kelly, and thanks you POSH! I will be going back to try out a cut sometime soon.
