I just had my first hair cut with Rick at Posh and he is amazing. I never once felt like he was pushing me into a style not for me. I have course dry curly hair. He took his time, and explained everything he was going to do. He is wonderful! I have finally found a stylist I can trust, and who truly understands what he is doing. The cut is exactly what I was looking for. The entire staff at the salon was polite and courtesous. Even when I showed up early and sat to observe.

Pros: They are so nice and the salon

Cons: none that matters

I was refered to see Wendy for thermal straightening. My hair is so shiny silky after the straightening. I save alot time in styling my hair. I love my new hair. I'm hooked on this. And I will go back to do touch up in a couple months. Its worth every penny!

Pros: parking lot on Webster St .

I've been getting haircuts from Arthur for a while and I think he gives a GREAT cut, he listens, he takes his time to give you what you want. I go out of my way to get my hair cut by him. I also love Kelly. She's a wonderful colorist and just an artful, cool person. I don't think you can go wrong with these two and Posh!

I love this place! I got a referral to see Bethany and Katie for cut and color and it was the best tip I ever received. They listened to me and even though I did not know exactly what i wanted they seemed to read my mind! When i left i looked fabulous! Thanks!

Lori is the best colorist in the city! I've tried most of the big names, but no one compares to her. After my hair was completely ruined by a bad color job, she did a phenomenal job transforming it from the horrible, fried mess that it was into healthy, beautifully highlighted hair. At least one person each week asks me who does my hair, and that's the best feedback in the world!

Pros: Great colorist

Cons: Must leave five extra minutes to find parking, but this is the city!

Arthur gave me a decent haircut at Posh, so I decided to try it again. I had an appointment at 6pm and showed up at 6:05pm (reasonable given how difficult it is to park). The host woman said that my appointment was at 5:45pm, which was a blatant lie and I have voicemail confirmation of a 6pm appointment still saved on my phone. Apparently Arthur had left for a bit. He returned and said he was not doing any more appointments that day. This is unacceptable, especially with me standing right there. I had left work early and driven an hour to the city to make this appointment. If I was running the salon, he would have been reprimanded and potentially fired on the spot no matter how good a hairstylist they are. I normally do not complain about bad service, but this was unacceptable and I had to take the time to sign up to citysearch in order to write this review - I will sign up for yelp and others to warn people. I will never return to Posh and I caution anyone who makes an appointment to triple check that Arthur actually plans to keep the appointment (perhaps ask to speak with him personally before showing up).

Pros: Decent haircut.

Cons: Appointments not kept. Arthur believes it is optional to stick to an appointment.

I have frizzy curly hair and got it straightened at Posh by Wendy. I must admit the process is quite long but I am sooo happy with the results. I first had a consultation and discussed everything over. She did a great job and was very direct with me. Thanks Wendy, I love my hair!!! Check out Posh...its a really hip low key plave on upper fillmore. Although i just had my hair straightened, the staff all seemed real friendly and talented.

Not only does this salon have a great atmosphere and a friendly enviroment, they have one of the best stylists i have ever been to in all my 22 years of getting my hair done. Her name is Katie and boy is she GOOD!!! I first went to Katie wanting my hair blonde , I had been to several stylists in the past that just could not give me the platinum blonde I wanted it always came out so brassy . I went to katie and haven't stoped because of the beautiful platinum blonde hair I have today . There is almost never a day where someone doesnt ask me who does my hair and tells me how beautiful it is. So when i say this is a great salon and Katie is GREAT I mean that 100 % THANKS POSH!!!!!

I visited with Katie the other day to discuss my hair as it is such a mess for me and I want to look my best for my cliants. I am light complextion but would like to change my color. Katie was such a wonderful person to meet and talk with. Katie had some wonderful ideas which I must dwell on. In today's fast pace world, to find a person like Katie who will hear your concerns without just giving you an "off the shelf answer" is unusual. I will be getting back in contact with Katie to discuss my new color in a very near future. Thank you Katie

I visited Posh Salon for the first time about two months ago. I had my color done with Katie. My first impression of her was warm and friendly. She sat me down and asked me where i wanted to go with my hair. We discussed the options and she made her reccomendation. She had a very confident demenor and her contact was very direct and informative. She explained the pros and cons of our decision and i have been very happy with the results. I have very unruley hair and she recognized this and did not promise me the world. I was happy to hear her honestly and she definately overachieved my expectations. I am returning to the salon this week and i cant wait to see what she has in plan for me!
